Dr. Kathryn Laura Park, MD

After 6 years or more of prescribing 6 pain pills a day she dismissed me and left me in a nasty time of withdrawal during the time time of the corona pandemic when I could not secure another doctor and appointment to get pain medicine prescribed. She always runs way behind schedule like her time is the only time that is important. She is rude and does not like to be disagreed with like she knows more about the pain I’m experiencing than I do. So much more I could say about what we disagreed about and what she said to me the day she dismissed me when she even used profane language in doing so but I think people get the idea of what kind of person she is. Very unprofessional.

I went in to see her for over 12 years and I have never bet such a good doctor. She taught me about how to get my back posture better and it allowed me to avoid back surgery for 5 years. When I did do it, she guided me and told me who to see. She always gave me the right amount of pills and not too much, which I understood. She has also grown to be one of my close acquaintances

I have had several pain management drs in this area and she by far exceeds osmc and the other drs ive seen

I have had chronic lower back issues. I saw Dr Park and after an MRI and lower back injection I am feeling better. She did tell me I had to lose weight to help my back, taught me the best posture to help prevent my back pain, and gave me stretching exercises. Her bedside manner was great and I did not feel rushed. I feel she takes the time to understand what the issue is, confirms with me what she thinks it is, then talks about the treatment. I can only assume the negative reviews are people that don't want any responsibility in their own treatment and expect a doctor to give them a magic pill to fix their years of self-neglect.

My first appt with her, She was understanding and caring. After that i saw her NP for over 2 years. I had back surgery (3 level fusion) 6 months ago, and for whatever reason i had to see her this time. She was EXTREMELY unsympathetic that the surgery made me worse than before. I have never asked to go up in mg and i didn't this time either, so she decided she was going to nitpick my prescription list and give me ultimatums to prescriptions that I've been on for 5 and 10 years. I'll be seeing the NP in 2months. If something doesn't change, I'll be finding a Dr. That will actually manage my pain, as opposed to not caring. I wish i could leave 5 stars for her NP Sara z Hake. She's been amazing. It's unfortunate she's attached to Dr. Park.

I have been treated by Dr. Park for almost 15 years. I find her to be very professional, polite, and an exceptional Doctor. She has taken the time to listen, and has offered multiple corrective actions to address my problems. I have had a few injections, physical therapy, and pain medicine all during the course of treatment over the past 15 years. I cannot believe any of the negative comments that have been made, other than to think they were drug seekers. My wife is also in the health field, and medical providers are very adept at identifying those seeking narcotics. I would highly recommend Dr. Park to any person who is legitimately looking for pain relief.

If you'd like to feel less of a person and verbally abused Dr. Park is for you!

Dr. Park has absolutely no people skills. She is down right rude. I have never heard of a physician acting in such an unprofessional way. Steer clear.
