Dr. Kathryn Ann Ryan, MD

I have seen Dr. Ryan on two occasions, the first for a hearing test and advise for hearing loss, the second for a sinus infection. I was very satisfied with her thoroughness during the exam, her advise and found Dr. Ryan to be very pleasant.

I was referred to this office by my GP for an ongoing ear issue where my eardurm nearly ruptured and never quite healed correctly. I know that I had no hearing problems at all, but there was constant ear fullness/fluid still and sharp shooting pain in both ears with a constant headache. Dr. Ryan had me do a 20 min hearing test - which came out fine as I knew. Then she flushed the ear with a syringe - did not help. Then she scraped away at a scab that had formed and she could not remove it - again, did not help either. After explaining that I have had constant ear pain and congestion still, especially when laying down, she said she didn't know why and told me to come back if it continued for another week. $50 copay down the drain. I will not be back, will search for a much better ENT who will actually act like they care and try to resolve my issue. She was abrupt, rude, and indifferent. Telling me I shouldn't have any pain at all, everything is fine. Just come back in a week. Thanks a… lot. I'm pretty sure I can tell that I've have this shooting ear pain for 2+ weeks.

She was very abrupt and spent two minutes with me. I left there without a diagnosis or resolution/plan of care to my issue
