When my daughter was a few weeks old I took her to Dr Self explaining what was going on and that she was in severe pain while eating. I also had a video that she refused to look at. She had awful bedside manner and was awful with my newborn. I switched pediatricians and he was able to help my daughter who had reflux. Because of Dr Self my daughter was in pain for several weeks.

I wouldn't recommend her to any family or friends. She has terrible bedside manner. She talked down to me when I questioned her opinion. I went to another pediatrician for a second opinion and was given completely different information. She doesn't seem to appreciate breast-feeding and gets stern when you question her. Think twice before taking your newborn to her.

I think Dr Self is just wonderful...i feel like she really cares about each individual child and their needs she does a great job listening to our needs and will sit and try and help. She doesn't give the impression she is rushed. I feel like i could talk to her about anything when it comes to my kids! i would definitely recommend her

Dr.Self is amazing I am switching all 5 of my boys to see her

She is down right demeaning to women who breastfeed. She does not take into consideration heredity. When you follow what she wants you to do she continues to call you inadequate.Considering this was my fifth child and my second one that was not on the charts, she even diagnosed that I was inadequate supply for my older child when she had no clue as to how much the child spit up, or any other information. Seriously STAY AWAY if you are a breastfeeding mama who has small children!!! SHE SERIOUSLY SUCKS!!! Thinks she knows more than a mama who spends 24/7 with her child in the first 5 minutes of the appointment!!!
