Dr. Kathryn Ann Pevey Szabo, MD

I had seen Dr. Szabo for several years. Now, they are using a call center for the majority of the time. It seems the only way to talk to a person, is to stop in and talk to them, which isn't convenient. The office staff can be very rude, especially Trisha. She makes decisions for the doctor that I don't find are good ones.

I have been seeing Dr. Szabo for a few years. She is always very attentive, caring, and takes the time needed to discuss things with you.

I went to Dr. Szabo cause she was the only doctor in my plan that did not have a 3 month or longer wait time for new patients. She is a very nice person, as a doctor, have numerous questions. Always seemed to not "Know what to do next". Every time I went it was a change in medications and it seemed like it was a trial period all the time. I was able to get a quick appointment and follow ups are scheduled in plenty of time. If you didn't have to work with the office staff, it maybe a tolerable experience. The staff, or I should say Trish, is rude and curt. They (she) thinks that she is the doctor and is rude to the point of obnoxious. Think twice before going to this office. You may not want to waste your time.

Have seen Dr. Szabo for approx. 4 years. She is a good doctor as long as you are well enough. She will spend time with you while you are there, but you cannot get in touch with her after you leave. You cannot get pass the "Gate Keeper" to speak with her. You need to explain your call to the office personal - they will pass it on to her and then call you back. If you have a question on the answer they relay to you, you will get another call back on that question. It could be 5 or 6 calls later that you get your questions totally answered instead of 1 call, 10 or 15 minutes long (if that). Don't get an illness that you are not able to get to the office, they don't need that. No money in no office visits, even though they get paid by the insurance company if she is listed as your primary doctor. All in all, she is a good doctor, just inexperienced.

I have been seeing Dr. Szabo for approx. 4 years now. I agree that she will sit and listen to what you have to say, however, she does not help you. We have had NUMEROUS pill changes and she always says...."I don't know what to do next". She is a good doctor as long as you are well. Don't get sick, cause she doesn't know what to do to help. Will not stand up for you when you need her to. What happened to the oath that they take, it does not seem to matter. When we started going to her, she was looking for patients. That is why she can sit, she does not have that many. She gets paid by the insurance company if she is listed as a primary doctor for the patient, so she need lots of patients. As long as you need just a person to sign off on minor illnesses, she is a good doctor.

I've been seeing Dr szabo for a few years now. She is the most attentive and sweetest doctor I've ever had. Shes thorough and very caring. She does not rush in and out of the room at your appointment she actually sits down and listens to everything you have to say!
