After 5-6 years of undiagnosed health issues I saw Dr. Taylor at CarePlus just for a general stomach bug. I had never been there before, I went as a walk in simply because they opened the earliest out of all the clinics around me. I had given up on a diagnosis and didn't really like doctors much, I just needed some meds and be on my way. Dr. Taylor just isn't that doctor... I accidentally let it slip that I had lots of tummy issues before and she went into a slew of questions. She looked at me with interest, like I mattered to her. So I spilled... I told her my health history. my LONG health history. She kept asking questions, getting deeper and deeper into each issue. If you've ever struggled with undiagnosed health issues you get to thinking no one really cares after a while. She cared. I've now hit my 18th month as her patient. I was just diagnosed with what I believe is the last piece of the puzzle that is my body. Each issue was rare and looked over by more than 20 drs,… specialists included, for many years. She has sent me to wonderful specialists for each issue (some need special attention), all the while kind of being the "rock" that takes care of my general well being. I hope she truly understands the blessing she has been in my life. A brilliant woman who has truly found her calling. I'm amazed that a simple stomach bug and a trip to the only clinic that opened at 8am in my area AND her availability to take me as a walk in led to me, humpty dumpty, being put back together again.
