Dr. Kathryn Ann Wagner, MD

I have been waiting to have a consult with Dr. for almost five months. Several appointments changed, not at my behest. I was scheduled for a Vsee appointment on May 5. Appointment time came and went with no communication. Called and was told it was canceled. No one told me. Very unprofessional.

Dr Wagner is a no nonsense, perfectionist and she expects that of everyone around her. She is exactly what we wanted and needed. What else would you want out of a surgeon. No she doesn't always play touchy feely and sugar coat things, but is that what you want from an oncologist and surgeon. A friend highly recommended her and now we would and do as well. She knows what she is doing and is very skilled. Her staff is very busy but if you pay attention and do what they say needs done then all goes smoothly.

It did take a while to get an appointment, but once I saw the doctor I was glad that I kept at it. Surgery went well and was pleased with the results.

Would love to get an appointment. So far I have called the number provided to me by my referring physician four times today and each time was sent over to the answering service. Left my name and number with brief description of what I need, Lets see if they call tomorrow. Sounds like the office is to busy to take calls or forgot they had the ringer off.

I have full confidence in her experience, competence and professionalism. She is direct and short, but respectful and friendly. I get the impression she is a VERY busy doctor with a huge caseload and this sometimes makes for longer waits for appointments and surgeries but the flip side of that coin is she is an in demand surgeon with a proven track record. I trust her completely to do my surgery. Although I don't think of her staff as being rude or incompetent, I do believe there's room for improvement there.

Dr. Wagner is great, and gives her patients her time willingly. If you can get past her incompetent office staff, in her office, all would be well! The staff needs to do what should be done for the patient, in a timely manner. Dr. Wagner's office staff knows our situations, what we women are dealing with. Women want to be taken care of with respect, consideration, and patience. The staff needs to treat patients, as if it was a family member of their own. It would be nice, and I don't think I am demanding, or spoke to her staff with a demanding tone. It's not just about me, It's about us....'women'

Couldn't tell you anything about Dr. Wagner, I was never seen. Their staff sent me to the wrong location, causing me to miss my appointment time. The receptionist called to the other location, I was then told to go straight to the other facility and I would still be seen. When my husband and I arrived I was immediately greeted with confusion. No one knew I was coming and I was told I'd have to reschedule. After explaining again that we just drove 3 hours from Del Rio to see Dr. Wagner, they then offered a possible appointment time for several hours later that same day. Unfortunately, that would have been impossible since we have to pick up our kiddos from school at 3. Aside from all the misinformation and running around, the staff was flat out rude! Never ever again will I bother with this clinic, and it's unfortunate that Dr. Wagner's staff ruined her name. I had heard such positive things about her. Please get your act together staff....very disappointing.

Expected me to wait over six weeks for surgery on an invasive breast cancer that pathology deemed " very aggressive".

For me it was hard to work with this doctor. In my opinion she was nice at first encounter then became harder to work with. I felt she was inflexible. Front staff were even more difficult for me to work with.

Very cold and rude.
