Dr. Kathy A Banks, DMD

They took almost 2 years to bill me $40 and told me that if it wasn't paid in a week, they were gonna sue me. Their staff were rude when I was in the office and rude when I said that I would not be using their services. I would rather have a swamp witch doctor from Louisiana work on my mouth than have to deal with this office again

Dr Banks is the BEST and most thorough oral surgeon you will even go to. I trust her completely. Been to her many times for various problems. When other oral surgeons tried to PARTIALLY remove a wisdom tooth because it was “problematic,” Dr Banks was horrified. She saved me from so many problems. My ONLY criticism of her is that she tends to give you an estimate with sedation on the bill without ever discussing if twilight sedation is 100% necessary, say for instance for putting in the post for an implant (or even pulling a tooth if you are ok with the noises involved). I questioned it and ended up being just fine with numbing (which saved me hundreds and hundreds out of pocket). I love this woman. She is literally the BEST. On the other hand, her office staff (front desk) is HORRENDOUS. Whoever the (blonde?) lady is who answers the phone and works the desk - she is so rude and .... well, fill in your own blank. Unprofessional, mean, I hate calling there because of her. It’s been a… year since I last went so I hope she is gone. She’s just the absolute worst. If Dr. Banks wasn’t the best in the business, that receptionist would have made me never come back. I don’t know if Dr Banks feels she needs a woman like that to run her office because she has such a kind demeanor or she really has no clue what goes on.

I’m an RN and have worked in MD offices in my career . Dr Banks office staff are wonderful and efficient. Dr Banks is very organized so you don’t have to wait long. She is compassionate to your pain. The discharge orders are concise and easy to understand. I can’t say enough about how great she is as a surgeon.

I brought my daughter to Dr. Banks office just the other day and we were extremely happy with our consult and time spent in the office. Everyone was so nice and comforting. Dr. Banks explained everything in detail about the surgery which really put us at ease. We met with Danielle before leaving and she was so sweet and kind. She answered all of my insurance questions and went over the entire process of how the billing in the office works. We are looking forward to our surgery date!

My daughter and I both have been seen by Dr. Banks and we both are very pleased with the outcome. She is very professional and makes all her patients feel very comfortable. The staff is very experienced as well and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend her .

Thank you Dr. Banks for seeing me yesterday in your office for a routine visit after you pulled two infected teeth at the hospital SOCH about a month ago. I experienced Excruciating pain for more then a month because of having a heart attack. I cannot express enough gratitude to you for being the Most Caring, Most Wonderful Dentist I have Ever met that actually has a heart and cares about people with the most respect. Dr. Banks is a no-nonsense, straight-forward, tell-it-as-it-is oral surgeon. She is technically competent, yet compassionate in her interactions with patients. Her highly trained staff is friendly and also educated in current dental practices.

Dr. Kathy Banks ONLY practice is in Barnegat. Don't know why they keep saying she is in other offices. Don't make the mistake and call those offices. You need to call Barnegat Great Dr and staff. Call today

Had an in-debth conversation with Dr. Banks. She really explained a lot of unanswered questions that I had from prior surgery with another other doctor. A high class knowledgeable professional, Dr. Banks is definitely someone I will trust my repair surgery procedure with !

Dr. Kathy Banks and her entire staff were of upmost positive, professional in all areas. I was a first time implant patient and expected something different and was surprised on how excellent the entire procedure went. I relize however everyone is different and may not have the same no pain after results, but the experience of the Doctor and her valued staff will remain the same.
