Dr. Kathy Siegfried Bolus, MD

After many years and many fine & qualified physicians; Dr. Bolas was able to ask the right questions, do the tests and accurately diagnose a condition I’ve lived with for many years- previously undiagnosed! She’s the best!

I have been seeing Dr Bolus for 20 plus years. She has always been there for me. She listens, takes her time with me, explains things and answers my questions. She is congenial and caring. She does thorough physical exams. I recommend her to anyone looking for a great Internist.

Dr.Bolus has been my doctor for 9 years. I guess I have always seen her on bad days-I am back to an earlier review indicating she has good and bad days. I find her a competent doctor who to me has been inattentive and has not always answered my questions. She is not good at explaining things either. I am seeking a new doctor as is my wife who also has been seeing Dr. Bolus.

Dr. Bolus is moody. If you catch her on a good day, she is kind, attentive, patient, focused and sympathetic. Should you be unfortunate enough to catch her on a bad day, she is short and uncaring. She has a different nurse way too often. That is not a good sign. She is good about giving a referral to a specialist if you need one. There really is no follow-up. Follow-up is totally your respon- sibility. She is great about asking what you can and can not afford. She will ask if the test or procedure you are about to receive is covered by your insurance. She is very considerate that way. Good luck!

Dr. Bolus is very friendly and attunded to her patients needs. She spends time with you and it very sypmathetic. Her intelligence and demeanor are calming and soothing. I would recommend her to my friends and family

Normally, I see her colleague, Dr. Gilbreth, but he was away and she did a credible job pinch-hitting. She arranged a referral for me with an MUSC specialist and that appointment is a mere 2 months away. Very MUSC-like.

Dr. Bolus is a very sweet, laid-back doctor. She is very thorough and willing to talk as long as you need her. I've been three times, and have yet to wait any longer than 10 minutes. Following up is not 4 stars, because of her lab. Twice I received lab report postcards that were blank.
