Worst dr and front desk office ever, whenever we need a refill we need a Dr visit, and she doesn’t answer calls, the receptionist will threaten you and she will answer the phone, and she sent the medication to a different pharmacy and didn’t respond to calls for a week and can’t leave a message, I couldn’t get my diabetic medicine for a whole week

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! From the representatives, to the nurses, even to DR. Joo herself (which was the one who yelled at my wife and called her a bad name!) they are the most rude and disrespectful people we’ve ever encountered in our life! My wife has had cancer twice and now the Doctor said they have found radiation in her neck again and they needed to schedule an appointment with endo and after scheduling my wife called to reschedule and THEY dropped the ball and never rescheduled her and they REFUSED to take responsibility for ANYTHING and every person my wife and I spoke to either transferred or hung up (and they kept calling my phone number instead of my wife’s) and lastly I spoke to Dr Kathy Joo and she answered the phone raising her voice! This lady was completely yelling before we even said anything! So unethical and disrespectful! There’s a reason why they only have 3 stars! Stay far away from this place!

It seems that Dr. Joo and her staff do not communicate with each other. I have left a message for Dr. Joo to give me a call back a few times and she never called me back. When I followed up on an issue, it felt like I am given the run around. The office staff is not efficient and seems like there're no office procedures/protocol in place. I do NOT recommend Dr. Joo. I put one star because it is required to submit a review otherwise I will not put a star at all.

My primary care doctor refer me for dr. Kathy joo and not a good experience. The lady misunderstood what I said and now they turn me down.

In today’s modern healthcare system referrals are as common as signing your name to a form. I had a REFERRAL APPt. Or so I thought! I guess bringing the referral to your appointment doesn’t mean squat with this office. It was as simple as turning the referral in to insurance.....or not. I have been arguing with front office for couple years trying to make a new appointment per my primary. Their answer was “You had a visit go to collections”!!!! Little did I know. Left several messages for this fashion-mists dr to call me. Seems she’s more concerned with her appearance than making sure her front office is capable of billing ins when a referral is involved. Or maybe she was the one to send referral in at the time of billing. Doesn’t matter whose to blame but the fact of the matter is “incompetent” is their format. On my credit report for years and finally dropped off no thanks to them!!!!!!!! I’m not done with this office!!!!!!! I need to get all my “ducks in a row” so to say. I might… add very embarrassing to me explaining why that office wouldn’t schedule an appointment for my second visit years after my initial. My advice to you is if you do unfortunately decide to go to this office.....get a receipt for anything you hand to them. Also maybe she can give you some fashion advice as it seems that’s all she’s interested in!!!!!!!!

Dr Joo is confident, has empathy for her patients, listens to my concerns and provides answers to questions, and takes a genuine interest in my car.

I was given new diabetic medicines. All the ones that had lawsuits involved. I asked for drugs that were on the market and had known side affects. She stated she wanted me on all new drugs. i decided to change Drs. at this pont.

OMG, STAY AWAY FROM THIS MD!! She was bound and determined she knew what I had without bothering to ask for ANY of my half a dozen symptoms! Got a blood test done for her, my thyroid hormones have been bouncing around, and she had her STAFF CALL ME to give me the results simply stating "You have GRAVES DISEASE"!! Luckily I read a lot so happened to know what that is, and its not good, but she did NO follow up, nobody told me what I should do, or get me on thyroid meds, NOTHING! A couple months later, at yet another endocrinologist, more blood tests, he actually listened to me when I explained all my symptoms, and stated no, I did NOT have Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism) but was actually in the beginning stages of Hashimotos Disease, which is HYPO thyroidism - the opposite of what Dr. Jou had diagnosed!! So GLAD now that she didnt put me on any meds, but what a crappy doctor!!
