Staff doesn't answer the phone. Connecting with them is AWFUL. Great doc,inattentive staff. Go elsewhere.

All I can say with complete honesty. I have worked in health care since 1976. Dr. Nguyen and staff are the most amazing group of professionals I have come across ever. I am in my retirement years. I have peace of mind that I am in their care. Georgina Dowdell

Don't waste ur time!!

Terrible patient care. Staff very rude and unhelpful. Mother was a patient for many years, and because the didnt take her new insurance they would not fill her scripts until we could get her into a new dr that accepted her insurance. My primary dr office would never treat loyal patients like that! Please do your research when look to go there. So many great dr. out there that care about their patients and not the insurance money!!

Aren't doctors supposed to make time to squeeze you in should you fall I'll? Sorry, not this one. They will schedule you for at least a month from the day you call. If you are ill, be prepared to be referred to an urgent care regardless of your copay. So sympathetic...NOT! Ran out of medication that you need to function on a day to day basis and a need refill? Sorry, but they don't have any availability to see you, and once again you will be referred to urgent care. Apparently all this office is good for is annual checkups and transferring your phone call around the office only to get the same response.

I explained to the Receptionist that I had to be seen within the 1st month and she still said six months wait time.

I called the office today to make an appointment as a new patient. I was told 6 months until next opening for such appointment. This is ridiculous.

Great doctor and excellent staff

Dr. Nguyen and her staff áre extremely nice and very helpful with answering all questions. Her nurse is great, making sure she gets all the info needed to help the Dr with her assessment and she also has a great sense of humor. Truly an asset to the practice. Dr. Nguyen is very down to earth and unlike other doctors I've seen, she speaks a layman's English. A doctor who talks down to you is not helpful and only makes your visit unpleasant, but can also ruin the doctor/patient relationship at the starting gate. Dr. Nguyen doesn't attempt to rush you through your visit and spends as much time as needed. She takes the time during each visit to go through your chart and make sure all is up to date and correct. She makes it her point to know about your personal life and know you in every way, which can be very helpful in treating you sometimes. She takes her time and gets the needed facts to make an accurate diagnosis. In fact, she found I had a UT I before I even experienced a… single symptom. She makes it a point to follow up on appointments that are more than just a normal check up. Her entire staff is very courteous and glad to assist with any questions or concerns you might have. I moved here from the north about 11 years ago and finding a new Dr is no easy chore. In fact, I went to 3 before discovering Dr. Nguyen. The first was a foreign female doctor who always talked down to me and had a terrible bedside manner; then I chose an older male dr. While he was very good from a clinical point of view, he and I couldn't connect at all. Lastly, I saw a young female Dr who never saw me, but rather had a P.A. handle all my visits. Even when it was obvious she was in over her head at times, the Dr was never brought in. In the 2 plus years I was a patient there, I only saw the dr one time for about 5 minutes and that was only to attempt to sell me on some diet program she was promoting. The last time I saw her the P.A. completely botched the diagnosis and when I didn't buy it she very rudely had her nurse advise me that was all she could offer; take it or leave it. I was completely taken back by this attitude. In fact, when I told Dr. Nguyen of my experience, she was not hesitant in saying she had heard these stories in the past and she agreed that leaving that practice was the right thing to do. Most Dr's will never say anything bad about another dr, let alone join in the criticism. This immediately gained my respect. I highly recommend Dr Kathy Nguyen.
