I called this obgyn upon high recommendation from a friend. I was surprised when I first called that I had to basically complete a health survey over the phone since I had never been in before, but what was quite taken aback when I was then told that the doctor would review my info and they would get back to me. I finally received a call back and was told basically because I was overweight and had high blood pressure during my last pregnancy that I was too high risk for them to provide care. I have never been ANYWHERE where I was denied care. I will make sure to let people know that this office likes to pick and choose its patients and refuses health care without even meeting a patient.

Dr.OConnell is the greatest and most outstanding doctor I have ever met. She takes really good care of me with compassion and kindness and accommodated my very tight schedule for breast cancer surgery. When I was diagnosed with 0 stage breast cancer and was in urgent need to have the contraceptive device removed for MRI before surgery, I tried to contact several doctor offices and explained my urgent need and none of them was ready to accommodate my schedule or even listened to my explanation. I called Doctor OConnells office on Jan.28 (Friday), the office staff Brittney listened carefully to my needs and agreed to talk to Doctor OConnell the following Monday. Finally I saw the doctor right on Monday and had the surgery done on Tuesday. I couldnt believe that my problem could be solved within five days. Doctor OConnell and the office staff are serving patients with care and concerns and are doing the best to the interest of the patients.
