She is so kind and really cares about me.

My husband went to Dr. Shoemaker when his primary physician was out of town. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but is in tune to her patients anxieties and concerns. She is the best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shoemaker since she started practicing. She is a wonderful doctor! She listens to me, gives kind and excellent advice, and has literally saved my life twice! She is personable , extremely knowledgeable, and very kind. She never makes you feel rushed.

I think Dr. Shoemaker has a terrific bedside manner. I have found her to be thorough and knowledgeable with blood work results and relaying it in a way that I find understandable. While I will keep seeing Dr. Shoemaker because I feel she is a good doctor, I feel the setting is unprofessional. The office is shabby and dirty. There is little sound barrier between examination rooms and while waiting for her, i can often hear the complete conversation between the doctor and patient in the next room - so much for confidentiality. The staff are rude and are dressed like slobs - very unprofessional

I agree very much with the first review, when first started with doctor Shoemaker was very nice thorough etc. Unfortunately over the last year have seen change like she's in a big hurry doesn't listen, like I'm a pain. Why be their and do that profession if you don't enjoy it or maybe your just to big for your britches now. Will never go back.

Dr. Shoemaker was great at first - very attentive and caring. However, over the years of my continuing to be chronically ill & her not being able to properly diagnose me, she became dismissive and impatient. After almost ten years I gave up and found a new doctor, and promptly received three new diagnoses that explained my chronic symptoms. In my opinion, Dr. Shoemaker is fine for "everyday", common sorts of illnesses, but my experience was not good in dealing with more unusual, hard to diagnose medical problems.

After 20 yrs. of going to the same Dr. and my husband only getting worse, we met Dr. Shoemaker while my husband was in the hospital. From the care given at that time, we decided to change doctors, making Dr. Shoemaker our primary care physician. As far as I am concerned, Dr. Shoemaker saved my husband's life. She worked with him changing medications until she found just the right combination that works for him. I have recommended her to friends who have only the highest admiration and trust in her. A #1 superlative in our book!!

I went to Dr. Shoemaker for many years, when I realized something was wrong with me, she did not listen, did not diagnose me- I had to switch doctors. I always waited for an hour on average for my visit, if I called, the nurses were very rude.

She is awesome! Everyone is at the office. My wife and I have changed doctors over the years due to insurance changes... we found Dr Shoemaker and glad we did. Overall she is fantastic.

I found Dr. Shoemaker to have a great bedside manner. After only a few minutes with her I was relaxed and felt like I had know her for years. I was very comfortable with her analysis is my condition and what methods she thought would heal me.
