Dr. Kathy Summers

I had uterine fibroids never had a child. She wanted to give me at hysterectomy in my mid 40 for uterine fibroids. I did some research and asked her about water ablation. She said it works. I chose the wate ablations but she didn’t give me this option. I had to do the legwork myself. She also gave me a cervical biopsy without anything for pain. It was horrendous. Ladies don’t believe all doctors. Hysterectomy is 40k water ablation vs 3000.00 Do your research. BTW I’ve never had another problem. How many problems hormonal and otherwise would I have if I let her do an UNNECESSARY hysterectomy? I’ve not been to a gyno since. That was 16 years ago.

I saw her for the first time today and I am so glad that I have a new gynecologist. She put my mind at ease and reassured me that I would be fine. I really enjoyed her bedside manner and professionalism. I highly recommend any woman to see Dr. Summers if they are looking for competent, educated and compassionate.

I read ONE negative comment. I do not believe that she is uncaring or condescending. I have been coming to her since the late 90's. She has taken very good care of me through some of my good visits and some with not so good news visits. She is very knowledgeable and has always been professional and friendly. My only thing...wish they would COMP the parking fees...lol Great job, Dr Summers.

I wish I could give her zero stars. Dr. Summers is the most condescending and and uncaring doctor I’ve ever met. She made me so upset that I cried today. I went to her with a few problems and I’m so stressed, and instead of trying to let me know the other doctor would help me better, she scoffed and talked to me like I was lying to her. Saying “mmmmhmmm” 4 times. She’s also made my pregnant sister cry as well because she was having contractions and Dr. Summers said she was being “dramatic”. She’s the most insensitive and uncaring person I’ve ever met. She lacks people skills. Go to her if you want to cry.

I completely recommend Dr Summer for the care of you and your baby. Sometimes she can seem a lit bit rough but that's because she's always straight when telling things which is something valuable to me. Her and her staff were always helpful to me and very nice. She made me feel confident trough the whole process :)

The entire practice makes patients their priority. From the low wait time to the updating of symptoms to the exit, all aspects are totally professional. And if there is a problem beyond Dr. summers' area of expertise, she has a list of referrals that are of equitable caliber. Have been with Dr. Summers for over 20 years and have referred many to her. By the way, I was referred to her that first visit 20 years ago.

I've been a patient of Dr. Summer for over 15+ years! I have recommended family and friends to her. She is the best and so is her staff and medical staff as well. Thank you all for everything!
