Sensitive, caring doctor. Took the time to answer my questions. Would highly recommend.

I had a good experience with Dr Tobin. She kept the tone light, even though of course I had no idea what to expect by the procedure. She had to move me to different positions as I had masses in both breasts. I found her friendly, approachable, but business like. It seems the pain is variable. I am happy to say I had very little. Based on my personal experience, I would recommend her.

She did my biopsy today. I was scared, quiet and did not even ask one question because I know she needed to do her job. She started off with a very Racist comment, telling me I looked Arab. Asked me to remove my evil eye necklace because she didn’t like eyeballs staring at her. She was brutal and Inhumane. She jabbed me like a truck driver would. Told me I was moving and disrupting her when all I was doing was trying to catch my breath while crying my eyes out. She suggested I then stop breathing then to allow her to poke me better. She told me Themis was the first time she d ever treated A “crier” and a “yeller” because I dared to project a sound of pain after jabbing me brutally in My right breast. She Didn’t even wait for the numbing injection to take effect before continuing the work and before extracting the sample of my lump during my biopsy. I could feel every move, ever jab, every poke and almost shocked crying under my mask. She didn’t even acknowledge I was crying or tried to… make me feel better. Just kept telling me to stop making her job mor difficult when all I did was catching my breath as far appart as possible without moving my chest too much. Never thought I would encounter a women that treats women with no empathy for her patients. Not a word of comfort. Treated Me like dead piece of meat. A real traumatic experience. Definitely do not recommend this doctor. Ever. Shale on an Institution like Lenox Hill to allow doctors like this practice with their name. All the bureaus were so caring and kind and they all apologized to me for what she had done to me. And everyone suggested I report her. I am going to elevate this to the hospital and with my lawyer. This women should not be in practice.

Always late, terrible manner

I have been coming to Dr.Tobin for years to read my mammograms and breast sonograms. She always makes me feel at ease and takes the time to discuss my findings with me. I am happy to have her as my radiologist.

Was having a biopsy and it was incredibly painful. I was wincing in pain each time they took a sample to the point of crying. Dr. Tobin said "what's the matter?" I was like it hurts. what do you mean what's the matter? I also have a high threshold for pain. She was terrible. Stay as far away from her as you can. Columbus circle radiology is a mill. it's terrible

This doctor went above and beyond to find my very small cancer. After she saw a suspicious subtle finding on my mammogram , she came in the room to scan after the technician who could not find it. She told me there was a subtle questionable finding that she would like to biopsy. It was in fact a small cancer .She may have saved my life.

You hear stories (or read reviews) about experiences like this and think, "That can't possibly be the whole story. No doctor is that unfriendly/rude/terrible for no reason!" I used to be that skeptic. Now I'm converted. My technician showed Dr. Tobin my ultrasound and she came in to take a second look. The nicest way I can think of describing her is that she seemed annoyed (that I dared disturb her lunch). She kept loudly asking the technician questions about what she needed to look at, snapping "where is it?" and "what is it?" and the technician looked at me awkwardly and didn't know how to respond (maybe because the technician realized I was a human being and not a slab of meat lying there, listening to what they were saying about suspicious lumps found in my body). There are many other details I'm leaving out for the sake of time (e.g., yelling at me to move to different areas of the bed/positions; asking if I had any questions and just leaving before I had a chance to… ask). Let's just say Dr. Tobin seemed really annoyed by the whole situation of having to see a live human patient.
