Dr. Kathy Elizabeth Wimmer, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Wimmer for 18+ years. She's an excellent, competent, wonderful doctor. I have many health problems and she is very thorough and is a very active listener and takes the time she needs with each patient. Sometimes, not always, there is a little wait, but I know it's because she is helping someone who needs a bit extra care. I will continue to see her as long as she is practicing as a doctor. I have extremely high trust in her.

Dr. Wimmer is not afraid to take the extra time it takes to listen to a patient to make and accurate diagnosis. I recently read that many clinic errors leading to death or serious illness is due to doctors only having an average of 7 min per patient in the room. Dr Wimmer does not follow this she takes the time that is needed to listen to the symptoms of the patient so she can do her job right. I do not feel comfortable seeing any other doctor in the area.

Dr Wimmer is the best Dr. I have ever met she is very smart and knows what she is doing. After taking my daughter to Drs. and specialist for three years for a lump in her throat and being told it was fatty tissue because she was chubby Dr. Wimmer walked in the room looked at her for about 2 minutes walked back out and told me there was something wrong with her neck (at the time we were not seeing her for the lump) she discovered my daughter had a goiter and hypothyroidism something an ear nose and throat specialist that ran test and several other Drs could not or did not bother to pick up on because they assumed it was because she was fat. Sense that moment I have been dedicated to Dr. Wimmer She Diagnosed something in my daughter that I have been seeking answers for for three years and that was not even what the appointment was for. Not only that but Dr. Wimmer cares about her patients she truly cares and you know she does she takes the time to listen to you she does not make you feel… as though you do not know your own body she really listens to you.
