Dr. Katie Machanda, MD

Dr. Machanda is the best doctor I've ever had. She is competent, funny, and caring.

The best Doctor that is in the Promedica group. I'm 85 years old and Dr. Machanda listens to all of my health problems. She even takes the time to write out all changes that she makes at the visit. I read over her list many times after the visit.

She was the pediatrician for my child after I gave birth. Dr. Machanda was horrible for my husband and I. On our last day she tried to keep us another night because our child had lost some of their birth weight (which is normal) not only did she try to make us stay another night she and the nurse tried to force us to give formula when I wanted to breastfeed. I’m a first time mom and she made me feel like it was my fault my milk hadn’t come in yet. I was told I needed to pump which led to an oversupply and mastitis when I got home. We had to fight to not stay another night and she would only release our child if we had their first doctor’s appointment the next day. She made us feel like our child wasn’t doing well by exaggerating the truth. We found out that at our appointment the next day.
