Dr. Katie Sue Schroeder

I was in a bad way about a year ago. I did not know I had an IBD condition until I landed it in the emergency room and eventually had surgery. I called around to about six different IBD doctors in Saint Louis only to learn that I could not get an appointment for four to six months. I was at the surgeon 's office for a follow up visit. His nurse referred me to DR Katie Schroeder. I called immediately and was given an immediate appointment. This has been a difficult journey for me but Doctor Schroeder and Nurse Practitioner Vogel have been very responsive, very caring and I got treatment almost immediately after my first appointment with them. I can't recommend them more highly.

Dr. Schroeder is great. She listened to me and had awesome suggestions, and really knew her stuff. She had reviewed my records prior to the meeting, etc. I've been to several others, and she is the best. THANKS DOC

Dr. Schroeder is one of the best physicians that I have ever encountered in my life time! I had issues for about a year before I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Schroeder. I saw a couple of doctors prior to her, and did not have a good experience with either. I was wondering if I was ever going to figure out what was wrong with me and get on the road to recovery. During my first visit with Dr. Schroeder she told me that she had looked at my records, and she asked me to explain how I was feeling. It only took about 10 minutes for her to explain my issue and put me on a treatment plan. I wished I had seen her from the beginning! That was about two years ago. I am still in her care and doing wonderful!
