Her and her staff lied on medical records had the staff at hospital lie on medical records. Myself, my family, and reports all had different reason on why I had to have a emergency C-section. Was having numbness in legs after delivery. Said it would go away. 18m later it’s moved to my arms and fingers. Starts in one when I’m asleep then moves to the other once I sit up. Hip is out of place or something. Walk like Frankenstein wife for about a hr when I first get up due to my back and hip. Told family members things that were not true and hospital that caused CPS to get involved. Shortly after my delivery closed her practice in Morehead City. Was not given ALL of my medical records. From talking to other in Comunity I have learned she is surgery happy. Loves to cut ppl open. God know what damage she’s caused inside that I don’t know about.

My only daughter moved from Wilmington NC to the Morehead City area and was pregnant with her first child. My daughter asked me to go to her new patient OB apt. I asked Dr Conrad if she was planning to do a ultra sound to check the position of the baby ? (I had been working with another OB/GYN for the last 16 years but he retired). He had always performed a U/S at 38 weeks to be sure baby's head was in the correct position. If baby was breach he would schedule a c-section for the safety of the baby. After I asked Dr Conrad she seemed almost upset or irritated and said no I do not. I know from a pelvic exam baby is head first. That sent up a red flag to me. Later my daughter went into labor and labor was moving along until the baby started showing decelerations. The nurses rushed in with a U/S and discovered the baby was breach and was pressing on the cord. Daughter was rushed to the OR as a emergency c-section. I was NOT pleased to say the least....When my granddaughter was taken to… the nursery I noticed her left leg looked a little out of place and she had two large cuts on her buttocks. She looked purple from the waist down. I was concerned about her leg. Nurse told me the cuts were due to MD trying to get baby out so fast she cut the baby's buttocks with her scalpel. The baby's left leg was dislocated at the hip, most likely from trying to be born breach for so long. Baby was placed in braces on both legs to try to correct the dislocation and would have to wear them for at least 3 mos and would follow up with a Pediatric Orthopedic MD. I was so upset. Today my granddaughter is 13 and was still left with her left foot turned in and it upsets me. Dr Conrad did not apologize or even review with us what had happened. But she knew I knew and would not even acknowledge I was in the room. I wanted to sue her but my daughter decided she did not want to due to all the time and money it would take. Just wanted to warn others about what happened to us and if you ever sit down with a MD and they get defensive, let that be a warning. My daughter's 2nd child was delivered by a different OB group and went so smoothly and were very satisfied with the care.

Best Doctor Ever! She is Disciplined in her studies, Confident in her abilities, compassionate to her patients needs, and brilliant with her skills! I am convinced she was sent to earth to be the person she is doing the work she does each day for women's health and physical, mental and emotional well being!

I would not recommend this doctor as an obstetrician. Every visit, she tells you something different. Due to her negligence, I almost lost my baby.

Hands down an amazing Doctor. She knows each and every patient as individuals not just another patient in an exam room.

Dr Conrad is such an awsome doctor! She honored my wishes to have a natural birth and offered me alot of encouragement during labor! If I lived in the area still I would go to her over any other doctor. Hands down. I would recomend her to all of my friends, too!

Wonderful doctor, very caring and will spend infinite amounts of time with you as her patient. Anytime i needed to talk to her she never made me feel rushed, even after 30 mins into our conversation. HOWEVER, her office staff is not the most pleasant. Multiple times i have called needing to speak to a nurse or doc, or needing a prescription refilled. Most of the time the message never made it past the receptionist, and follow up phone calls were met with rudeness and a sense of "stop calling". The main receptionist has NO sense of urgency or compassion for patients, which was a big issue with me. All in all Dr. C is a very sympathetic and caring woman, which is so crucial in a doctor- but her staff does not match that criteria.
