Summary
I graduated from Radford University with a Masters in Social Work. Since becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked with a diverse group of clients. In my experiences I have worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, dementia, intellectual disabilities with dual diagnoses. I have worked at a Community Service Board providing support to clients with numerous mental health diagnoses, and at a crisis center providing support to clients with dual diagnoses in crisis.
I focus on children. adults, and geriatric clients using cognitive therapy and adjust therapy based on each client. Every client has their own individual issues and this is why therapy needs sometimes have to be adjusted to provide each client the support they need. This allows clients to be empowered and remain in control of their issues while being provided support and active listening in a nonjudgmental atmosphere. Together we can build a relationship of trust so that you will always know you are …being heard. Together we can work through issues and develop ways to deal with the issues to improve your quality of life.
