Dr. Katy Kalok Wong, MD

Took over a month went they got the referral from my doctor (She will only see you that way) to get a call to set up first time met her. Still have to wait MONTHS for that first met too. Then a little more than a month after setting appointment They called saying they didn’t take the secondary medical insurance I had on my chart. I didn’t have secondary. And that insurance they was calling secondary I called said it was dropped over a year ago and my docotr’s Business he works for that my chart is from. Says it was dropped too. I told them I wasn’t covered by the old one that they didn’t take. Didn’t matter. Dropped me before I could see her. And they NEVER sent the papers they was suppose to for me to do for fist visit too. She wasted (2.5 mos) of valuable time for me to get diagnosed and start some type of treatment on whatever I have. They want you to jump threw hoops for her but won’t even slightly listen to you. Don’t even bother with her. They waist your time. There are… other doctors out there more willing to take you without the migraine she gives.

Dr. Wong took the time to ask very thorough questions and follow-ups. She not only presented a clear diagnosis, but also her reasoning as to why she arrived at her conclusion. I've never had a doctor explain things so well. She's great!

Very thorough. Takes time to listen and values patient's perspective.

Very condescending. Horrible bedside manner. Did not want to listen to anything I had to say. Makes you feel that your symptoms are all in your head. In so many words insinuated that she only treats sick people and I must not have been one in her opinion. Unfortunately, she is only one of two in the area and the other is not any better. Would recommend someone in Peoria or Chicago.
