Dr. Katya Divari, MD

Incredibly rude office. No common courtesy or compassion. High turnover, not one person who was there 6 months ago was there when I went back today. Will not return.

Dr Divari has been my doctor for over 20 years. The main reason I have stayed with her for so long is because I trust her... she is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, she is always up to date on the latest medical techniques still gives you the feeling of an old fashion doctor - those who practice medicine as a vocation, who care, are companionate, listen and will give you the time you need. I always have and will continue to highly recommend Dr. Divari!!!

I was her patient and I had a bad experience with her.

Very bad phone communicator also... called me for an emergency follow-up and didn't identify herself (I answered the phone, heard nothing on the other end, said "Hello?" and got "Yes!?" from the doc...after which I asked, "Whose calling"....OOOOH, it was then she identified herself). Was very nice (for the first time ever) in person the next day. If actually seeing Dr.Divari, expect very long waits (up to three hours in one instance), with usually curt communication. Doesn't like my questions, answers with dumbed-down remarks that don't have much to do with medicine or science, apparently one of the NP's has picked up this style as well--very annoying.

I have been a patient of Dr. Divari for about 5 years. I went to her for the sheer reason that I needed an Endocrinologist and she was only one of 2 in the entire Metrowest area. In the beginning she had a knowledgeable staff, and she was fairly involved with patient care albeit difficult to see her for more than 5 minutes for any appointments. She also never looks at you directly, just keeps her involvement with reading what your computer history says, rarely looking up.. In the last 2 years she has let all her technicians go, has a very high turnover in any staff who is remotely experienced and you have to make an appointment to see Dr. Divari a year in advance for a physical which allows you a whole 5 minutes of her time. If there is any detailed problem that requires her time she will send you to a specialists, A very non-involved or caring physician with no warmth.. Over the last year I needed blood work and an EKG. Her technicians did incomplete blood work and didn't know… how to operate an EKG machine. I am an older patient with increasing health issues and Dr. Divaris health care management is , very poor.

I became sick 7 years ago. I went to see her and she recommend that I stretch my neck, at which point my neck snapped, and she refused to send me for an MRI or any other Xrays - she said the pain was all in my head. After 7 years, 10 different doctors, 1,000 of shots, it was determined I snapped a ligament in my AO joint. I just hope she suffers the same pain she puts her patients through.

Terrible experience. I found this doctor to be rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. She was a poor communicator, an alarmist, and extremely unprofessional. She does not know how to filter her thoughts or control her emotions. She has no business being in the health care industry, or any other customer-facing job for that matter.

Have cancelled all future appointments. Terrible experience.

Very experimental and adamant. Doesn't reason - or discuss - holds her ground - no matter what happens to your condition

Always long wait time. Few minutes in a office. Doesn't care for patient. I m looking for another doctor for my thyroid problem.
