Dr. Katya Kalogeropoulos

In her role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Katya helps individuals of all ages achieve their goals in functional and productive ways. Her deep understanding of mental health is demonstrated by her consistent empathy coupled with a no-nonsense approach to identifying obstacles and dealing with interfering behaviors. Katya is passionate about empowering her clients using psychoeducation and helping them develop a powerful toolbox of coping skills that foster self-reliance as they move through life’s challenges. Katya earned her Master’s degree from Boston University. Working in various clinical environments, Katya became well-versed in the realities of mental health issues. As a mom and therapist, she managed the challenges of competing roles. This is pivotal to her clinical approach. She favors tenets of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy to encourage her clients to reach their goals.
