Katya Ramos Marrero is a compassionate and dedicated board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over six years of experience in various clinical settings and four years of research experience. Katya has consistently demonstrated her commitment to improving health outcomes for underserved communities through evidence-based practices.

Her expertise spans primary care, OB/GYN, public health, and cross-cultural communications, particularly with Hispanic and Latinx populations.

Katya's notable achievements include developing a culturally tailored diabetes self-management education class that significantly improved health outcomes and reduced disparities for Hispanic/Latino adults with type 2 diabetes.
