Dr. Kausar Salim Kherani, MD

Dr. Kherani has been taking care of my kids for over 10 years (my oldest is 12). They actually look forward to seeing her, even when there are shots. Dr. Kherani has always been wonderful. She will squeeze us in whenever we need and has even stayed after hours to wait for us. When we go to her office she is the one we see--no PA's or NP's. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Kherani has been our daughter's doctor since her birth. She is really caring and knowledgeable and spends time listening to your concerns and answering the questions.Our daughter had lost a little more than normal weight in the few days after birth and Dr. Kherani saw her a few times during that period. Though it was nothing to be overly concerned about but throughout this difficult time she was excellant. She asked us to call before coming so she could see us quickly and the newborn baby doesn't have to wait for long. She was very patient and understanding about our concerns. During this time she provided us (the new parents) with a lot of support and advice. My wife was especially tense and Dr. Kherani gaev her a number of tips on breastfeeding.Unfortunately we have had to move out of state and can no longer see Dr. Kherani but it would be difficult to find such a good doctor.Dr. Kherani

My first interaction with Dr. Kherani is when I called the office to speak with someone to try to meet Dr. Kherani before the birth of my 1st child. It was apparently after hours and Dr. Kherani answered the phone herself and said she would be delighted to meet with my husband and I. The interactions with her only got better the longer I have been with her. My 1st child was colicky and had RSV at 10 weeks old. She saw how exhausted I was and proceeded to comfort a new mom with hugs and praise that I was being a good parent eventhough I thought otherwise. Now into my second child I cannot imagine trusting my children to another doctor. I have since moved fairly far away and I just cannot bring myself to change pediatricians.

We love Dr. Kherani. She is amazing, thoughtful and knows are kids. She sees us whenever we call the same day when our children are sick. They never see a nurse practitioner or other doctors when they go into her office. ONLY HER! She is great and I am so thankful we have found her.

Soon after our daughter was born we were recommended to go to Dr Kherani by many people and we are glad we made the choice. She is one of the best pediatricians we have been to so far. Very passionate towards children and a wonderful doctor. She is supported by well trained staff. And if you ever visit her don't miss out on her wise tips, she is very good at giving practical tips.

Dr Kherani has been our sons Pediatrician since he turned 1 year old and was diagnosed with Lactose Intolerance. He is now 14 years old and we are very please with her as his doctor. Dr Kherani has always made it a point to make my son feel at ease during his appointments. She's taken the time to talk to him and more importantly listen to him and hear what he is saying. She knows her patients; I could call her in the middle of the night after not seeing her for months and she remembers our last visit and vitals from his medical records. She's been on target with us 100% of the time. She is soft spoken with a wonderful sense of humor, truly knows her area of expertise and is an Asset to the Pediatric community.
