Dr. Kavita Joshi, MD

I was a patient of my previous doctor for 20 years I only left because the drive to stamford got to be too much. I found Dr. Joshi through a friend who actually highly recommended her. I was satisfied with her and felt she was thorough but the follow up and office staff left much to be desired. I was a patient for about 6 months when Covid hit and then she fully closed. My pediatricians office stayed open but Joshi was completely closed which I thought was odd. she did do zoom calls after a month but even when doctors were fully back into the office she was still doing ONLY zoom calls.... I know because I called for my lab slip for my colonoscopy that she said she would send BEFORE covid hit.... when they finally opened - I tried getting my lab slip again to no avail. I called on 5 separate occasions and the office staff said they would have it for me to pick up but they never got it together to do that and instead a several days later, I got call after call about a new "concierge… program" they were running asking if I wanted to sign up for it. I got 10 different calls and 5 different postal notifications about the program but still not 1 call back about my lab slip. I then had enough... Ive had stomach issues since before covid and so I was even more worried and wanted my colonoscopy so I decided to start up with another doctor. I then called for my medical records so I could switch primary care doctors and the girl in the office said she would gather them and that she would email them to me the following week. mind you, she never even asked why I was switching... I received nothing so I called 4 more times and I've emailed twice and STILL NO RETURN CALL OR EMAIL. I just called again and left another message on their voicemail - they aren't open on Wednesdays. I am beyond frustrated and do not recommend this practice whatsoever!!

Office never picks up the phone

I had been going to her for quite a few years but the experience has gone from bad to worse. She doesn't care about her patients wellbeing at all! She rushes through the appointment even though we have to wait for more than 30-45 mins for her to see us after having an appointment, she's not even apologetic when she runs late and often she simply makes patients wait even though you might be the first appointment of the day. She doesn't care to send in prescriptions to the pharmacy in a timely manner, I have had to wait over a month with repeated calls to her office(at least 5 calls) with no response. Totally unprofessional! She needs to be more invested in her patients health. She and her team don't respond back to emails or voicemails. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.. horrible experience.

Dr. Joshi is a very thoughtful and knowledgable doctor. She listens to a patient, explains foptions and takes all facts into consideration to come up with a treatment plan.

Dr. Joshi is the most thorough Dr. I have seen. She takes the time explain absolutely everything to you, answer every single question/concern. Even if I ask the same question three different ways. She is always gracious and patient, her bedside manner is top-notch.

I absolutely love Dr. Josh. I am so comfortable with her that I could tell her anything. She takes time..listens..and is through. She supports all of my health decisions. In other words I think she's the BEST!

Since Dr. Joshi moved to Monroe, her personality has changed from caring to very business like. The staff keeps changing, they do not return phone calls and often make mistakes when taking messages. I'm considering leaving..

Dr Joshi truly cares about her patients. She is very complete with her exams and communicates well with her patients. She has diagnosed me accurately with my medical condition I had before I proceeded with another medical treatment. If my condition wasn't treated before hand it could have been unsuccessful. If you are looking for a great doctor...SHE IS THE ONE!

She is one of the best physicians comprehensive thorough and very understanding .When every other physician is rushing in and out of the room she takes that extra time to sit and discuss my concerns and always follows up...she came highly recomended ,and in my difficult times stepped right in to take care of my needs . I will send any one in my family to her in a heart beat!

one of the finest physician ever , higly recommend , Very courteous and polite and a great listener , I brougught in my whole family to see her even my mom who moved to ct recently !
