Dr. Kavita Shalini Monteiro, MD

Worst doctor I have ever met. Rude, cold, judgmental. She should not be working with people that are coming for help with medical concerns. and paying her salary!!!!

She was cold and unhelpful. She rushed through our appointment and commented (inaccurately) on how I was dressed in my notes. I was there for strep, not fashion advice.

Similar to others experiences in that she made me feel terrible about seeking medical assessment and doing my own research as to what I thought the problem was. It was harmful to see her and I would never send someone to see this provider due to how she made me feel and I work with providers all the time for my job. Zero contextual explanations, despite irregular results in my chart indicated. I would not recommend going to this provider for anything other than a stubbed toe. She will make you feel vulnerable and unheard and you will end up spending money on nothing. Find a different provider!

Rushed through everything, didnt listen to my opinion or my story. Rushed through medical charts and asked questions that were totally unnecessary to put in my chart. Ended up prescribing me with heavy medication that i didnt need, making me feel even worse, as well as strongly advising me to get a surgery that i didnt need. Didn’t explain any blood work done, or anything. If I could give no stars, i would. Do not waste your time/money on her.

This doctor tries to gain your trust so that she can use what you say to place negative notes in your records. She does not partner with you or respects your opinion. For example, the CMA could not find my vein to take blood. CMA gets upset with me, becomes combative after numerous pleas to her to NOT raise my bp with her hostility.CMA acts as if I am the problem. Later I find out that Dr. wrote in my chart that I told her that I did not take my bp and that is why my bp is up. Leaving out how her CMA tried to Dracula my arm then treat me as if I had the problem. I am the victim.

I've never felt more respected or genuinely cared for. Dr. Monteiro shows more concern and dedication to her patients than any other physician I have ever met. Her professionalism, knowledge, and way of working with me was beyond measure. thank you.

I was immediately struck by Dr. Monteiro's professionalism, competence, and manner during my first visit. My opinion has only grown since then. She's a fabulous physician.

I have had many doctors over the years. But she made me feel like I mattered. She wanted to hear my opinion of what I thought was wrong with me.She is a doctor with angel wings. Very caring.
