Dr. Kavitha Gopal, MD

I spent 10 minutes with Dr. Gopal. She gave no exam, no tests, and she tried to rush me into trying to pay out of pocket for a procedure on the spot I wanted medical advice on first. Then she sent me a $300 bill. I had to see someone else for the issue I was having. She was very cold and rude. Now her office is harassing me with credit collection threats after I told them I lost my job during covid. I've been trying to send in what little I can per month. The visit was horrible. There was no help or advice. And no care given. She just told me she had to write up my not even known condition as a problem where I would have to pay out of pocket. I sought other medical care and now her office is trying to run my credit over $300 for a terrible 10 minute office visit.

I can not recommend Dr Gopal enough. She is such a good gastroenterologist. She is very knowledgeable and explains things very well so that you are able to understand what is going on. When you have a colonoscopy, you don’t feel a thing. She also has a staff that is professional and treats you with respect. Her office is kept clean and the waiting time is usually about 20 minutes. That includes waiting room and examining room. Don’t look any further, she is the best!

I will never ever recommend this lady to not even to my enemy.

I had pretty bad experience. Dr. Kavita Gopal barely gave me a min or two during my office visit. She didn't ask any question about my symptoms to understand it correctly, she didn't explained anything about how to diagnose my symptoms she just told about colonoscopy and what to do during visit of the colonoscopy and when I can schedule. Ultimately she wasn't at all interested in curing the disease but was only interested in how to get money out of the patience by making them schedule expensive tests.

Dr. Gopal is very professional with great personality. It is so easy to talk to her. She explained my management plan in detail and took time to answer all my questions. I love the handouts given in the office- very informative.

She was very attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely a doctor who I can recommend to my family and friends
