Dr. Kavitha Vani Manjunath, MD

I am so tired of the poor excuse for healthcare that's out there now a days that I am CALLING OUT NAMES for every bad experience now so people have fair warning. This Doctor is extremely rude and does not know what she is doing or what she is talking about. I should have read all of the horrible reviews about her - they are all ON POINT with what I just experienced. She does NOT listen or care about you. Where do I even begin on all of the errors she made! She put in the medical notes that I had a Vitamin D deficiency (This is FALSE and Doctors should not be giving false diagnosis's) - my bloodwork CLEARLY shows I have an ELIVATED level of vitamin D. Being a Doctor, she should be careful giving a false diagnosis as this is very dangerous for someone's health. She also made me feel as though I were a child being reprimanded when going over my A1C as I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 7 years ago and am still trying to get it controlled. She said she knows a 90 year old that has… had his blood sugar in control his whole life. Comparing me to someone like that is extremely unprofessional. She started the appointment by telling me that she refuses to prescribe 2 of the medications I am currently on - following by saying I need to "fix" the problems they are prescribed for, one being for panic attacks and anxiety, which I've been trying to combat for years! Their were so many more issues about this appointment but I'll leave it at this... I went to her once and will never go again. She needs to be stripped of her title as a healthcare professional and is a disgrace to the practice she works for unfortunately.

Very professional and took the time to listen to me. Gave clear advice on how to improve my health such as exercise, eating habits and weight control.

Dr manjunath is a very ignorant dr i tell her all my problems & she pretty much disregarded them then to top it all off i tell her im on methadone & right away she looks at me like i was a totally different person so anyone on methadone i would highly recommend you find a doctor who will treat you just like anyone else & not judge you because of being on methadone

She doesn't listen dictates notes while you are in room and doesn't ask you how you feel does not even examine you!!!

I moved here due to my husband's work at CMMC. We thought Dr. Manjunath would be a great primary physician. However, she barely listened to my concerns. She is not a modern doctor and does not stay up to date with current guidelines (NIH or pubmed). As a physician, she should be more current. When asked about OCPs, she was in a very outdated mode of thinking. Research yourself before going to a doc who trained in a different time and a very different mode.

She dictates her medical notes right in front of you, and includes inaccurate information. I know this for a fact when I went to Medwell for a sinus infection and saw the information I was upset. You ask her one thing and she doesn't listen. I will no longer go there.

She takes the time to talk to the patient, she answers all concerns and explain very well the plan to follow. She is very nice, I really trust her.
