Dr. Kavitha Ponduri, MD

Always sends you off or refers you to other doctors. Orders all kinds of tests ( blood, x-rays, colonoscopy, etc.), then charges you another office call fee just to review the results and tell you everything looks good, plus bills your insurance company as well. Doesn't make eye contact during visit, sits behind a computer screen in the exam room and types as you are describing your problem, then says come back in 6 weeks for another checkup.

Wasn't feeling well made an appointment and went in to see her. She done nothing for me going to send me over to two of my other Dr and have some blood work done told me she'd seen me back in 6 weeks. A waste of money and a waste of my time.

Started seeing her at the recommendation of friends. My previous doctor just didn't seem to answer questions or make me a part of my own health care. I have found Dr Ponduri to be very understanding, willing to answer questions and never make me feel as if I am waiting her time or do I ever feel I am being rushed out. She seems to be genuinely interested in my chronic health problems and address' them even if that is not the reason I am there. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a good Internist. Her office is clean and inviting. Her staff is polite and professional in the way they handle themselves. They all seem to know what they are doing. Not only do I get a call a couple days before an appointment to remind me. But half way between regular appointments I recieve a call from the office asking how I am doing and making sure I have enough medications or if I have any other concerns that need addressing ahead of my next appointment. Truly the best doctor I… have had in a while.
