Dr. Kavitha P. Raj, MD

I got the impression that Dr Raj is a decent doctor but not a decent person She enjoys insulting people for no reason-. Not what you need when recovering from cancer.

Dr. Raj spends a lot of time with her patients. She makes sure that she has answered all of your questions. She is very approachable and makes you feel that she really cares about you.

She is not a knowledgeable Oncologist. She ordered the incorrect test on the tumor which resulted in excessive, unnecessary treatment. Not acceptable.

I was sent to this doctor for a new patient evaluation. My first visit with her from the get go was a horrifying experience. She showed up over an hour late. She was rushed and did not seem to know details of my diagnosis. She did not let me discuss my questions and ended our visit saying she was already running behind. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and made a follow up visit. I thought that maybe she was having a bad day the first time I saw her. Unfortunately my second visit was similarly bad! She was again over 45 minutes late, was rushed, did not even sit down to talk to me to review the blood work she had ordered. When I tried to ask her questions she kept on interrupting me. She let me know that she was "annoyed" with my questions. She did not even wash her hands prior to examining me. I left her clinic feeling quiet upset and humiliated! I decided to ask my primary doctor for another referral. I don't want any one else to have to go through what I went through-… run the other way if you are sent to her!! Susan
