Dr. Kavoos Cameron Nazeri, MD

Rushed, Dismissive, and Substandard Care My initial consultation with Dr. Nazeri did not go well. The appointment lasted approximately six minutes, and I felt completely unheard and dismissed. For an $85 co-pay, the quality of care was non-existent. Dr. Nazeri was extremely rushed and made no effort to take a patient history or explain his thought process. In fact, I had to actively interrupt him at one point to ask if he required details regarding the history of my illness or my current symptoms. He asked me no questions about my condition. I was simply handed a lab form and dismissed. I left the office feeling irate, unheard, disrespected, and that I had received substandard care. A six-minute consultation for an $85 co-pay, without a proper history or evaluation, is unacceptable. I felt like a transaction being processed rather than a patient receiving care.

Do not try to schedule an appointment to see this doctor... no one will help you or call you back. Go to any other doctor you can find.

Dr. Nazeri is an excellent Physician. He conveyed a great deal of information pertaining to my health work up profile. I feel confident and encouraged that such a Professional is my Doctor. His entire Team is just superb!!!!

I was on hold for 30 minutes trying to find out if a referral was sent from my Primary. I talked to 3 different people, was put on hold 5 times and spoke to the manager Joanna. My referral was sent. However, due to unorganized front of the house staff, they weren't able to find my paper work. I've been waiting 2 weeks for them to get their act together. Note to Doctor: You're only as good as the people you hire to run your appointments.

I had to switch doctors because of a change in insurance and I have been very disappointed. How can a rheumatologist never examine you? My previous rheumatologist always listened to my heart and lungs, checked my abdomen. Looked at my mouth and hands and asked questions related to lupus. I also had regular bloodwork done, now I have sporadic bloodwork and it is not explained to me. I am never examined and he is horrible at listening to concerns about my health.

I’ve been going to Dr. Nazeri for about three years now and I’m very satisfied with him. He’s always answered all my questions and has put me at ease. The one complaint I do have is with his front desk. It always goes straight to voice mail. They never answer so you have to leave a message.

This is one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. Dr. Kavoos C Nazeri was so rude to me today. I left the appointment in tears crying trying to figure out what I'm going to do about the physical and mental pain he's caused me. I have been seeing him for the last 9 months for extreme pain I've been having in my wrist due to a fracture I had over 20 years ago. He decided to give me a steroid injection 9 months ago. When he did it he injected me on the top of my hand and it felt like hot lava shooting through to my fingertips. I have been in extreme pain for the last 9 months. Its been hard to do daily activities not to mention I had to modify my work schedule and I'm working less hours now. I tried to tell him this and went into defense mode telling me over and over not listening to a word I was saying that I was mistaken. He kept saying it over and over. You are mistaken! You are mistaken! Then he yelled... you need to find another doctor and file legal action against me because there is… nothing else I'm going to do for you!" and walked away from me. Washed his hands clean of anything he may have done. I am so sad, upset, and in more pain than I originally started off with. How in a world that we try and help people especially in the medical field... How is it ok for a doctor like him to treat me as though I don't matter and I just have to take his malpractice and live with the pain in silence. I wish he could feel the pain I'm feeling right now and try to sleep at night.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nazeri for about 18 months. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis some forty-five years ago. My greatest pain is my knees and I have received excellent care from Dr. I would like to see his office have a better communication with me. I call in for appointment information or other medical information and have a very difficult time actually speaking with a staff member. Usually, the person I need to talk to is unavailable at that moment and a return call will be forthcoming. This does not happen. Staff/Patient communication is practically non-existent unless you travel to his office. Hopefully, this will improve in the future.

can't reach a human when calling, left at least 3 messages since only allowed that, but then never returned call. Had to go in person to make an appointment. The voice mail box was filled so couldn't leave a message. They act all ghetto in person like want to fight and want to push you buttons. After not being able to get my medication for an illness that contributed to causing my stroke, then it was appointment issue because I have a swollen hand on my side not working since the stroke. Need to switch doctors ASAP. I like this doctor, but not worth dealing with these people and the stress they cause. I can't have extra stress since I don't want another stroke.

Dr Nazeri is an excellent Rheumatologist. He listens to his patients, gives appropriate treatment-tests. I have had serious injuries as well as surgeries. He is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He has treated me for a few years now for OA, SS, PPS and DD, and other issues and has improved my mobility and overall function. His patients matter to him. He has a caring and efficient staff as well, never a long wait. I have referred friends and my husband is also his patient now.
