Horrible experience the absolute worst I have ever had. Had multiple root canals before with different drs. This was the worst in my life.

We just left a few minutes ago after a NIGHTMARE experience. Dr. Garza at Floss Dentistry sent us here. My twelve year old daughter may need two root canals. Our appointment was for 8:00. It was closer to 8:20 when someone came to get my daughter. I stood up to go with her and this person made it clear she would just take Jordan back for X-Rays and she would come get me when it was time. The minutes keep ticking by and I kept thinking how long do X-Rays take? Around 8:40 I hear my daughter screaming and crying all the way down the hall. I jump up and tell the front desk I want to see my daughter NOW. I walk down the hall and they have my daughter in a chair doing some sort of test on her (a cold test which Dr. Garza our regular dentist has already done). Tears were steaming down Jordan’s face and I was FURIOUS. I hadn’t even MET the doctor. No conversation had been had- no consultation had been had. She took the liberty of working on my daughter and who knows what else without even… speaking to me! I still don’t know what she did to my daughter- or what the findings of the X-Rays were- or what the results of any testing was. The doctor REFUSED TO SPEAK TO ME. She jumped up and walked out of the room and snarled at me. The only thing she said was “This isn’t going to work.” NO IT ABSOLUTELY ISN’T. One of her assistants snarled at me and followed me up to the desk and said that it is their procedure to not allow parents to come in the room with children. WHAT? The doctor didn’t even introduce herself to me, she didn’t ask me any questions about what is going on with Jordan’s teeth, she didn’t give me her opinion on what we should do next. SHE STARTED WORKING ON HER WITHOUT MY CONSENT. In SPITE of all this I said please let me know if I owe anything for today. Her snarling assistant said “we did a full exam so it will be full price!” No one discussed any exam with me- no one discussed any results of said “exam” so what exactly would I be paying for? You don’t treat/touch a child without speaking to the parent FIRST. Again- the doctor NEVER spoke to me before working on my twelve year old. I don’t even KNOW HER NAME! She should have introduced herself, asked me what’s going on, what work has been done on Jordan’s teeth leading up to this point, and given her professional opinion on how we could move forward today. I am disgusted with this “practice.” Avoid at all costs. I will follow up with every single avenue possible to report the unprofessionalism we experienced today. This should NEVER happen. I’m sure the “doctor” will respond to this review and lie about what happened today. I’m sure she will say I ran into the room loud and throwing a fit. SHE WOULD BE CORRECT. She crossed a line today that should never be crossed. She and her employees were snarky, defensive and hostile. They didn’t seem to grasp the concept of you don’t work on a child without talking to the parents first! You don’t leave the parents in the dark about what is going on! You don’t force the parents to wait in the waiting room- you ask them if that is ok first and let them decide! Unacceptable and inexcusable. I’ve already spoken to Dr. Garza and he agreed that YOU JUST DON’T DO THAT!

Dear Dr. Bath I am forever grateful to you and your excellent staff for your superior dental work in my desperate time of need. The wait time in getting me in was excellent, but it was not surpassed by the quality of work done and the professionalism of your staff. Thank You! COL, US Army (Retired) Joe Combs
