Dr. Kay Suzanne Entrekin, MD

This was unfortunately the doctor that delivered my second child. In short, it was one of the most traumatic experiences of. my life. This doctor has zero bedside manner and lacks basic human empathy.

Dr Entrekin did an emergency c section when my son was born and she years later removed my fallopian tubes and oblation to the uterus. She is an excellent Dr. I would recommend her and I was also very happy with Dekalb Decatur Emory hospital for the surgery's.

Kay Entrekin embarrassed and humiliated me in front of her staff. She has no bedside manner or even common courtesy. I am ashamed of her and of the medical association that lets her claim to be a doctor. Her license to practice should be taken away. She is an embarrassment to her profession. Beware of her hateful tongue and stay away.

Dr. Entrekin is a doctor who is extremely insensitive and rude. She has a nasty attitude and her only solution is surgery rather than try to find a way to assist her patients. I have been her patient for several years and am now looking for a new GYN. She needs to retire as she clearly has a horrible way in talking to patients and needs sensitivity training.

I believe this doctor likes hurting people and I will never go to her again and I would not recommend her to anyone.

Find a different doctor this one is scary! Wrong diagnosis, pushed to hard to have a hysterectomy and ...gave me wrong information about what a UFE is and if it can be repeated.

Let me just say that my experience with Dr. Entrekin was phenomenal. Dekalb Medical was awesome and I would say it was the best hospital experience ever. I took a shower in the hospital before I was discharged the next day and was walking the driveway without pain meds the following day. Thats the mark of a GREAT SURGEON!! She is conscientious and humble, a straight shooter and I would recommend her to my best friends and family any day.

I was very disappointed in Dr. Entreken's medical services, as well as her attitude and bedside manner. I saw her on several occasions for severe bloating and lack of a period, issues I had been having for over two years. She basically told me that she doesn't treat bloating and that everyone is bloated. She did not seem to take my symptoms seriously or offer any further suggestions. Long story short, I sought out further medical treatment from another gynecologist, and he was very sympathetic and agreed with me that there was something going on with me. He was able to find and solve the problem in one office visit. If Dr. Entreken had listened to me and had been more thorough (and well if she actually cared about her patients), she would have found the problem since it was not an uncommon issue. She may be fine for a routine checkup, but if someone has a more complicated case, she has zero concern for resolving issues. I'd relate her to a car wash versus a thorough… mechanic. Needless to say, I have switched doctors, and would not recommend Dr. Entreken to my worst enemy.

I put up with the pain of my pap smears until this year. I don't believe the pain is necessary and I am changing doctors. I was bleeding when I left that office and in some pain hours later. I'm sorry I went to Dr. Entrekin as long as I did.

I had been seeing Dr. Entrekin for over 15 years and feel as if I dodged a bullet at my daughter's expense. My 20 year old had a protruding stomach and so I took her to my gynecologist. My daugher's first visit and I was told to WAIT and would be called back after the examination. My daughter looked three months pregnant and hadn't had a period in months. Dr. E. told her to go home - just stress as she is a college student. My daughter had a 17 centimeter cyst that was finally diagnosed a month later by the doctor at her college. It was removed a month later along with her appendix. Thank God it did not burst or worse. Lazy is all I can say. She should have treated my daughter like she would have her own. It makes me sick. Needless to say I have gone elsewhere. Even after the college doctor called her office to say my daughter needed an ultra sound immediately they merely examined her and made her come back the next week for the ultra sound. I didn't know what a cyst was and only now… with this experience are women talking freely to me about their cysts and experiences. Women talk and share please.
