Dr. Kay Brasher Kovac, MD

Dr. Kay Kovac is a family medicine physician with additional training in emergency medicine who earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. With 47 years of clinical experience, she brings extensive expertise to patient care across multiple medical settings. Dr. Kovac is fluent in English and serves patients throughout the Lake Providence community.

Dr. Kovac practices at East Carroll Parish Hospital and maintains clinic locations in Lake Providence and West Monroe, Louisiana. She treats patients with conditions such as chronic lung disease and mobility challenges including limping and loss of trunk control. Her comprehensive approach includes coordinating physical therapy, strength training programs, and speech therapy services to help patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
