Dr. Kaylen Mark Silverberg, MD

I had a frustrating experience during my appointment on October 18, 2024. As a survivor of SA, I am sensitive to medical situations that leave me vulnerable, and this visit heightened those feelings. The appointment began with the wrong doctor performing an internal ultrasound without introducing himself or verifying my date of birth—this felt like a major HIPAA violation. Dr. Silverberg offered free services as an apology, but it did not address my distress. I was disappointed when he inaccurately stated my age and dismissed the surgical report I provided from an expert in endometriosis, claiming the assessment was incorrect after briefly reviewing my surgical photos. His suggestion of a drug that puts you into menopause, without considering my desire to conceive, and his dismissive comments about the at home ovulation machine I use were also concerning. Overall, my experience with Dr. Silverberg was disappointing, and I left feeling unheard. I hope this feedback encourages… improvements in patient care.

After meeting with a few of the main fertility specialists in Austin, my husband and I decided Texas Fertility Center and more specifically Dr. Silverberg was the best fit for us. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to make sure we knew all our options before moving forward with IVF. Throughout the entire IVF process I felt completely supported and cared for by Dr. Silverberg and his amazing nurse team. I have officially "graduated" from Dr. Silverberg's care and am moving on to my OB which is definitely bitter-sweet! If you are currently looking for a fertility specialist... do not look any further! TFC is the place to go!

If we could give Dr. Kaylen Silverberg and his amazing team of nurses more than 5 stars we would. After struggling with infertility for 4 years, my husband and I made our first consultation with Dr. Silverberg at Texas Fertility Center. Our first impression of Dr. Silverberg was outstanding and exactly what we needed. He patiently listened to all of our concerns, answered every question under the sun (we had a whole list...literally) and most importantly put us at ease and gave us hope that a healthy pregnancy was in our future! Dr. Silverberg takes the worry off your shoulders and provides the best medical care possible in order to make your dreams of having a family come true. His nursing team is nothing short of stellar. They answer every "crazy" question and are extremely organized, prompt and knowledgeable! We feel so blessed to have been able to call him our doctor for this journey. We are now 9w2d and couldn't be happier. Thank you to Dr. Silverberg & Team!

I have been a patient of TFC and Dr. Silverberg on and off for the last ten years. I cannot say enough good things about him and the staff. Everyone we interacted with was helpful, encouraging, and quick to respond. As for Dr. Silverberg, he immediately put my husband and I at ease the first time we met him. Throughout our journey he was always straight forward and compassionate. While knowing he has many patients and is a busy doctor, I always felt that when he asked how we were doing, he really wanted to know. Sometimes you do have to wait a while for an appointment, but knowing he takes his time if I have an issue, I understand that he gives that time to his other patients as well. After a long infertility journey, we are now pregnant through embryo donation. It was bittersweet when Dr. Silverberg released me to go to my regular OB! I highly recommend him and TFC to anyone having to navigate the rollercoaster of infertility.

We had a wonderful experience at Texas Fertility Center. Dr. Silverberg put us at ease from our first consultation and was confident and clear in our treatment plan. Dr. Silverberg's bedside manner is very straight forward, intelligent, and calm - and I felt well-informed throughout the process. His nurses were patient and friendly - and prompt in responding to our questions. Our first treatment cycle was a success and I can't recommend Dr. Silverberg highly enough!

There aren't enough positive words to describe Dr. Silverberg and the staff at Texas Fertility Center. I have stage 4 endometriosis and he has performed multiple surgeries and helped reduce my endo pain. On top of that we have done an IVF cycle which resulted in my perfect now 2 year old. My husband and I returned to Texas Fertility to start another cycle to try and have another successful pregnancy. Dr. Silverberg always makes you feel important and truly has your best interest at heart.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis at the age of 14. If you’ve been diagnosed yourself or know of anyone who has Endometriosis, you know that you feel like your life has ended & now your everyday life has to revolve around your diagnosis. After seeing multiple specialists for my Endometriosis, a family friend told me about Dr. Silverberg & how he helped her. The next day, I called & I set up my first appointment with him. I knew from the minute that I met Dr. Silverberg that he was going to do everything in his power to help me. I didn’t ask for much. I just wanted to be pain free! He cut to the chase & after a couple of appointments, surgery was scheduled & I couldn’t wait! After surgery, I felt immediate relief & for the first time in 11 years, I could say that I was PAIN FREE! Not only am I pain free but I have the energy to go outside & play with my kids, travel, plan family trips & now I get excited about waking up & getting out of bed instead of dreading the pain that I will have… to endure! There aren’t enough thank you’s for what Dr. Silverberg has done for me & is continuing to do! He has exceeded all of my expectations & more! We are now on the journey of trying to conceive our third child, all thanks to Dr. Silverberg. If your reading this doctor, you gave me my life back & most importantly, you gave my kids their mommy back and I will forever be grateful for that!

Dr. Silverberg was very personable and thorough during the consultation. He discussed plans and reasons for them every step of the way, and expressed an honest excitement when a successful pregnancy finally occurred. I felt very comfortable working with him and his staff. Things to keep in mind: we cycle and ovulate at odd times, so may have to come in on weekends or Holidays. You have to be comfortable letting the on-call doctors work on you or you may have to miss that cycle (some women dislike working with alternative doctors). The charting was thorough as well, so I had no issues or confusion with this aspect. There is also a surcharge for holidays/weekends, but not unreasonable. Sometimes there’s a wait. Makes sense given that some people may have questions or worries to address. A few times I was even called back well ahead of schedule when things were moving fast! (I drove a few hours from out of town and tended to arrive within an hour early, which worked out great on… some days). I liked working with this clinic and Dr. Silverberg. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I have been trying to have a second child for almost 3 years. I went to my OBGYN several times to find out why I was not becoming pregnant. She finally consented to do a fertility work up. The tests revealed that I had a blocked fallopian tube and endometriosis. Because of these results and my history of PCOS I was referred to Dr. Silverberg. He met with me and my husband to go over our histories and do an in office evaluation. From the beginning he was extremely confident that he could fix my issue with an out patient surgery. I was hesitant to have surgery but he reassured me that this option was the best route to become pregnant and also to help with the intense pain I was having from the endometriosis. After the surgery Dr. Silverberg did a post surgical evaluation and discharged me to start trying again. 2 months later I finally became pregnant and am currently 8 weeks along. My husband and I are eternally grateful to the staff at Texas Fertility Center and Dr.… Silverberg for such wonderful care.

We are so glad we found Dr. Silverberg. The first time we met him he made a game plan of how to get me pregnant and fast, and I'm so glad we trusted him and his expertise. We wouldn't have two of our kiddos without him. And his team is phenomenal...the nurse I was assigned to (Ashley) was with me through every up and down and kindly explained everything to me so I was never in the dark. I felt so taken care of, I would recommend to anyone having trouble getting/staying pregnant!
