Kayode Zaccharus Oluwayomi

Kayode Oluwayomi is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He has been a nurse for the past 7 years, a psychiatric nurse for the past 4 years, and a PMHNP for the past year. Kayode works with diverse clients with different cultural backgrounds — he has workedwith clients with different mental health problems such as alcohol abuse, drug abuse, major depressive disorder with or without psychosis, anxiety disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorder, and more. All the clients Kayode has cared for have one common need which is to be helped and be the best of themselves. The general goal of these clients is to be able to perform their daily activities without stress. To uniquely help these clients, he personalizes individual client care and makes use of the motivational interview process in communicating and delivery of care. In addition, he encourages clients to focus on their strengths rather than their weaknesses.
