Dr. Kee-Yee Yee Shum, MD

My husband and I have been visiting Dr. Shum's office for almost 20 years. Dr. Shum is a knowledgeable and friendly doctor. I will recommend him.

Treated my wife several times with good results. Will certainly go back to him when needed.

I don't know how he is as a clinician, but he is one of my parents' medical doctor. Doesn't appear to want to do more than what is minimally required of him. I request documents from him, ask him to complete forms to obtain particular services for my parent or request letters to support my mother's care and condition, but he doesn't want to do it. He says he doesn't have the time or staff to perform these functions and wants me to write it and he will sign it. My mother thinks he is useless but doesn't want to bother searching for a new physician. I don't know if he is a good doctor, but obtaining anything administratively from him or his office is challenging. It can take multiple phone calls to request a form to be completed or a fax to be sent. I dread dealing with him of his office due to the lack of care or desire to assist patients.
