Dr. Keimun Aloysius Slaughter, MD

STAY AWAY! Dr. Slaughter indeed. I had a forehead lift and upper and lower double bleth procedures in October 2022 (drooping eyelids). The entire ordeal was the WORST experience I've ever had. From the day of the surgery, two dozen needle pokes for the nurse to insert the IV, being apparently OD'd with anesthesia, was literally physically removed from the recovery room due to my inability to "wake up" and offered no compassion for the distress of the state I was in at discharge (they needed that bed!). The end result is that I have deep craters in my forehead that are visual through my hairline (can't wear my hair back anymore), string oozed out of the wounds, stitches fell out a week or so after the surgery, my drooping eyelid STILL rests on my eye lashes, impairing my peripheral vision (at six months and over a year post-op), I still have pain under my scalp, the right side of my face is NO LONGER IN LINE WITH THE LEFT SIDE, I have large scars on my face that I never… anticipated, I was never prepared for any of this - Dr. Slaughter never discussed any of this with me. When I met with Dr. Slaughter post-op, he literally became angry in frustration due to my complaints - further overwhelming me with stress and anxiety. I was assured at that last meeting that Dr. Williams would make it right for me; however, he cancelled my appointment with him last minute yesterday and I got a call today that he will not see me, that I must see Dr. Slaughter only (go back to the man who screwed it up the first time?!) or they'll send me my file. Awaiting my file to take to my lawyer and a new plastic surgeon to fix this mess. This is beyond unacceptable.

What a waste of time. Dr. Sluaghter didn't listen to my questions or concerns, didn't have the proper equipment to examine my sinuses, and recommended I see a specialist with more experience. I recommend the same.

Its been over a year since Dr. Slaughter performed a bilateral blephloplasty and a forehead lift. I voiced concerns that my left eye felt heavy and that it was significantly smaller than the right eye. He literally told me that if he had to fix it, he's not going through my insurance. You could visually see that my one eye looked like it was asleep. It barely opens now. I've had two infections in that eye and no longer drain properly in that eye and now I can barely open it. They then proceeded to dismiss me from the practice because I voiced my concern about inadequate surgical practices. He literally ruined my eyesight and the way my eyes drain. Now I'm working with an ophthalmologist and we are rectifying this and Dr. Slaughter should not be able to perform these in the future. Do not recommend!! Run as fast as you can. He spoke to me as if I was uneducated and he made me feel as if my concerns weren't valid. His staff even noticed that the one I looked way worse than the other.… He is a horrible surgeon to say the least. How can you make somebody feel so poorly when they came to you to feel so good. Now I have to get two different surgeries to fix what he had done to me. It's awful when your surgeon speaks to you as if you don't matter. Thank you Dr. Slaughter for making me feel insignificant and for ruining my face!

I underwent surgery with Doctor Keimun Slaughter due to damage to the right eye and brow. The injury affected my vision, balance, and coordination leaving it difficult to perform simple tasks with traditional ease. Doctor Slaughter and his staff’s professionalism was on full display as they understood my needs and helped me cope with the unpleasant symptoms of anxiety and stress before surgery. The surgery was a great success and I wish to provide my strongest recommendation to not only use the Williams Center, but more specifically, Doctor Keimun Slaughter and his team of specialists.

I recently visited The Williams Center with Dr. Slaughter. He was so attentive, informative and compassionate. His staff was equally as wonderful! The entire nursing staff was wonderful... in the operating room and especially nurse Sara in the office. Sara is very kind, caring, informative and made a follow up call the next day to be sure all was well. I sure am very happy with my results! A huge THANK YOU to Dr. Slaughter and his entire nursing staff!

Dr Slaughter has a great bedside manner. Excellent care and surgery. He preformed a miracle on my face due to extensive skin cancer from nostril to chin. I’m very happy and would highly recommend him. CM
