Dr. Kiera Mason, MD

Keira Mason, MD, is a senior associate in perioperative anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in pediatric anesthesiology and perioperative care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures. Dr. Mason earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internship at The Cambridge Hospital and residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital. Board certified in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology, her clinical and academic work focuses on delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care while advancing pediatric anesthesia education and patient outcomes.
