Dr. Keith- Austin Scarfo, DO

Not compassionate very rude and childish had me call after ct scan for the follow up because I asked about the pain med policy only wants to give out a certain nerve med for every ailment as if he has a claim in their stock don't recommend going to their eddy st location where everyone is basically rude except a few

After reading the negative reviews, I have to say I was very apprehensive. I spoke to my daughter and son-in law who are both MDs about my concerns. They told me to keep an open mind and judge by my own experience. I was pleasantly surprised. Dr. Scarfo introduced himself, shook my hand. He asked me what I expected from this visit. Dr. Scarfo did a thorough exam, discussed my pain, and explained step by step what was found on my MRI, while showing It on the skeleton of the back. At no time did he push injections but rather gave options and provided reading material. I am very judgmental and my expectations are hard to meet but I would certainly recommend Dr. Scarfo.

Not a very compassionate pain doctor, poor bedside manners, doesn't seem to care or take the time to find out what you want.

Just wants to give you injections to save insurer money instead of much needed operation

The doctor is a joke, wont spend more than 5 mins with you, rush your appointment, wont look at previous medical history, will refuse surgery for you to keep claims low for insurer, if you take any kind of pain medication you will automatically be treated like an addict, and he will try to take you off your pain meds and send you to PT so he can induce your pain to sell you injections!!! This doctor is a hackjob! He got his degree sleeping through his med classes.

Dr. Scarfo LISTENS! Which my 2 previous doctors did NOT! I'm so glad I found him cause I am finally not in pain anymore but thats cause he listen ...
