Dr. Keith Evan Benziger, MD

My three children have been seeing Dr.Ben since their birth. He’s always been wonderful at listening and diagnosing. My kids enjoy visiting him.

Warm and knowledgable, Dr. Ben puts both kids and parents at ease.

Just had Dr. Benziger perform our sons circumcision. He was recommended by our pedi and we were going souly off her word, so I was nervous with a complete stranger. Dr. Benziger couldn't have been more courteous and friendly. I haven't met a nicer doctor. He saw I had anxiety about the procedure and spent time before to explain the surgery and answered any and all questions. Afterwards, he came back and gave us care instructions and let me know how things went. My husband was allowed to watch (I couldn't handle it). He also allowed us some privacy afterwards to feed our son which seemed to calm him down.

I don't feel rushed when I take my son to see Dr. Benziger. He provided me with a thorough explanation of what was going on with my son, how he wanted to treat him, how long he should take them, and the things that I should be watching out for. His other pediatrician prescribed a bunch of expensive meds, with no real explanation of why a child that young should have to use them, or how long he would be on them.

the office staff is always helpful as well as knowledgable. Dr. Benzinger is extremely efficient patient and has an excellent bedside manner. I liked his care of my newborn so much I changed my tweens from their old pediatrician too him. I am also in the healthcare field and doctors like Keith Benzinger are rare.

This doctor is not very good at diagnosing children's illness. If your baby is suspected of a viral infection, he doesn't follow protocols to determine that. He will send you home to have you watch your baby while you drown him with motrin, that's all. I hope when he reads this he will get a clue.
