Dr. Keith Patton Berkle, MD

I had a major surgery and his follow up has been zero, nothing. I have not seen him since before surgery. He didn't see me in the hospital, discharged me with partly collapsed lungs and has done no follow up care. I am alone with extreme pain. He doesn't call back or respond at all. I can't recommend him.

I cannot thank Dr. Berkle enough. Words cannot express just how much Dr. Berkle has helped me. He’s given me a chance to get my life back. I have deep Infiltrating endometriosis (seriously bad ju ju!) and have been tortured by excruciating pain for many many years. (Feels like an eternity!) 3 operations later, so far, the pain is able to be controlled by meds whereas before the meds couldn’t even touch the pain. The first 2 operations were performed by 2 different caring, competent Drs. to no avail, pain was back with a vengeance. Dr. Berkle performed 3rd operation and I can tell a big diff! My main area of complaint, pain can be dialed down to a tolerable level with meds. I still have some healing to do and the goal is zero meds, We’ll see but honestly as long as the pain can be controlled with or without meds, I’ll be able to live again! I just want my life back! Dr. Berkle has given me hope. Oh, and by the way he is so very patient. Listens to every word/concern and truly wants to… help in any way he can. So very compassionate, knowledgeable, down to earth and hilarious. Love, love, love this Dr.! Highly recommend! :)

I was initially hesitant to have a male for my OBGYN, however, I have been so impressed at how easy it was to be his patient. He always took the time to listen to me and he always answered my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I never felt rushed, and that was really important to me. It is so apparent that Dr. Berkle truly cares about his patients. I was his patient for 4 years and I am sad that I moved away from Richmond, because Dr. Berkle was the best OBGYN. I haven't been able to replace him.

DR. BERKLE WAS MY DR THROUGH OUT MY LAST PREGNANCY. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH SHORT CERVIX AT 20 WEEKS. DR. BERKLE KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE GOT MY NOT ONLY TO MY DUE DATE BUT 10 DAYS PASS. I WAS ABLE TO DELIVER A HEALTHY BABY GIRL UNDER HIS CARE. HE ALWAYS EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND MADE SURE I UNDERSTOOD, TOOK MY CONCERNS INTO CONSIDERATION AND ADVISED ME WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME AND MY BABY. I CAN'T THANK HIM AND HIS STAFF ENOUGH FOR ALL THEY DID TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ME AND MY BABY!

Dr. Berkle and his nurse have an excellent bedside manner. Very friendly and willing to spend as much time as needed to make sure you understand everything.

Dr. Berkle was my OB throughout my pregnancy. I was induced by Dr. Berkle due to VERY low amniotic fluid. He was an excellent cheer leader and helped me believe in my goals and go forward. I defeated the odds. I was in labor for 2/3 days with pitossin and did not use any medicines.
