Dr. Keith R Brecher, MD

i felt he listened to what i was saying and was very personable. he did all the work, no nurse asking all the questions that you just have to repeat your answers when the doc comes in. the receptionist, on the other hand was quite cold

I agree with the other people who said Dr. Brecher was very unprofessional in his attitude toward a new patient. He acted like he was God and I should be thrilled he stepped in to see me for 1 minute. He actually repeated word for word everything his nurse Maria had just told him in a nutshell about what I had discussed with her. Each follow up appointment Dr. Brecher was MIA and Maria was not helpful. I will not go back to these people ever again and fair warning people - find a better neurologist!

Uncaring, Doesn't give you a chance to talk, cocky, miserable, insulting, rude. Patient of Neurohealth for 7 years at the time. He took over for my retired doctor. He never examined me. He said he wouldn't treat me. He just insulted me and gave me the bum's rush to the door while making it clear to staff he would Not ever see my again and I would not be coming back. Wow! I could go on but...

It's hard to believe these negative reviews online. This DR is the only one who has given me hope and not feel like I am crazy. I had been to three different doctors and everyone told me I was fine. This doctor gave me options and was very compassionate and explained everything. He never pushed any meds I didn't want on me. Also sent me for an MRI of my head which was never done up until that point. Not sure how my other DRs didn't think of that. Wait time is under 5 minutes and the assistants are very polite and quick.

Dr. Brecher is a caring and smart doctor. If thinks there is the possibility a patient's condition can be improved by a referral to another specialist, he'll do it without pause. And he'll always follow-up.

This man is so disconnected to his patients. Every time I have an appt., he reads from his laptop going over my file like it was the first time I have ever been there. No eye contact, no personality, cold and arrogant, never smiles and never even says my name (he could care less). My days at NeuroHealth are numbered. See ya!!

I would highly recommend waiting for an opening with one of the other doctors in the practice. This doctor will hardly pay attention to you and will keep an eye on the clock to make sure you don't spend too much of his time. Uncaring, non-compassionate, and very arrogant.

Does not follow up. treats you like your just a number or name of a piece of paper. No eye contact. Seems rushed. Im not sure if Im coming or going when I leave his office. Nothing is for certain. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Too many critical faults at the core of being a good neurologist to go into details. He comes across as an intern, not knowing enough information, stating wrong information, etc.. Poster Doctor of our current state of healthcare, he's watching the clock(not to exceed 15 min.) more than listening and prefers to defer responsibility of care to your PCP or related specialist. All in all- in my experience avoid NeuroHealth.

Top-notch neurologist. Warm and friendly personality. Prompt. Explained complicated medical stuff so that it was easy to understand. Highly recommended!
