They tell you when you go there that you can come in for a urinalysis without an appointment. Not true. I called to come in for urinalysis and they said since I had not been in office for 6 months I would need an appointment. Actually they had cancelled my appointment because they scheduled it on a holiday. So was able to go into my regular doctors office that day and have the procedure.

As a pt with a chronic urological problem that has been seen twice for the same thing ,having a known diagnosis and treatment I find it ridiculous to come into the office for repeat exam and tests just to get a med refill. Now we are in the midst of a panendemic and I am 71 years old , to come into the office is a risk . Is it unreasonable during this time to just refill over the phone?

Great office, quick referral. Dr. Brightbill and his staff were very friendly and professional. Great bedside manner. All of my questions were answered throughly.

Great physician! They were able to work me in with their busy schedule and schedule my surgery in s timely matter. Super nice nurses.

Horrible experience with entire staff . Doctor was forever late and had curt remarks for being late. Was not helpful at all.

office staff extremely rude......find another dr

I was a patient offered the Botox Injection for urinary incontinence. I was not happy with the staff leaving me on a table for one hour and then only checking once to see if I was okay. I was told the procedure was done in offices and he would "numb me up good" and that I would not at all need to do this in a hospital. I did request the hospital saying "I am a wimp" but Dr Brightbill felt it would all be easy and I would drive myself home for sure. The pain was so unbearable that I finally said "stop, no more" and I never really received the full procedure. A nurse never held my hand or stood beside me during the procedure as that would have calmed me a bit. After three injections, Dr Brightbill asked if I needed someone to hold my hand and that was a little late. Fortunately, my husband had insisted on accompanying me to the office that day as I would never have been able to drive home. I was not even told thank you as I left (the staff is not friendly) and they never have… said "have a nice day or thank you). I found the procedure room to be a bit dusty and the floors had never looked clean. I should have been more careful in choosing my doctor's office and such. After the procedure failure, Dr. Brightbill was nice to let me have my say. I told him of all the feelings of his staff not watching over me, not offering (as I had asked) for something to take off the edge if this got painful. I told him about the batroom seeming somewhat unclean and I walked around and showed him what I was referring to. He mentioned he would talk to his office manager at a meeting that night. I called to get an appointment to discuss my medical records and such and was told I could not see DR Brightbill for some 4-6 weeks. They offered the PA and of course, I explained the PA would not be of help in this situation. So, I am now waiting for an appointment in late May to discuss what my real diagnoses and my records should be stating. After getting a second opinion, there was some question as to whether the Botox Urology Injection would really have helped my stress incontinence anyway. Seems it helps urge, which I do not have. Of the three more urological opinions I have had, I am told this is a hospital procedure and the instrument used is 16 inches long..........enough said! I trusted this very nice doctor's advice but this procedure should not be done in an office and he should have stopped at the first scream for the first injection. It is not a tiny needle, do not be fooled! My insurance company paid some $4,800 for the procedure that I never got finished so it was billed and the med records say "Patient tolerated the procedure well." Be very careful in deciding on in office procedures of this type. I cannot recommened this Carolina Urology Office as they never even called to see how I was doing. Three weeks of feeling so upset over this.

Dr. Brightbill has been kind, caring and compassionate. He will take the time to answer all of your questions and break them down into an understandable format. His staff has been very pleasant as well. We feel confident with all aspects of care that we have received from office visits through surgery. Would highly recommend this wonderful doctor!

Dr Brightbill might be a fairly decent doctor, but his office policies and choice of staff is terrible. First of all, it is policy to overcharge you just in case your insurance doesn't cover everything. You will not be refunded this money unless you hunt it down at the corporate office. Secondly, the office staff is very unprofessional. On my husband's procedure day, Dr Brightman was an hour late before anyone told us he would late. The office staff repeated used profanity and spoke openly about personal, medical and financial issues of other patients, and about coworkers who were off that day. I was there for over two hours with two small children. We all got an earful. Thirdly, the 'nurse' who brought out my heavily drugged husband was giggling because he had fallen and hit his head on the sink. I was not permitted to talk to Dr Brightman myself and my husband was in no condition to answer my questions.

I recently saw Dr. Brightbill for the first time. His nursing staff was great, listening to my every concern. Dr. Brightbill also took the time to listen and then as he told me the procedures that I required, he explained what they are and why I needed them. The wait time was long, but also explained to me that he had a hospital emergency and therefore was running late.
