Dr. Damerau is compassionate and has never made me feel rushed. He listens thoroughly and assesses each medical symptom with the utmost professionalism. He listens and observes and procedes with treatment and further testing.He truly cares about his patients and expresses sincere empathy. He is extremely knowledgeable but never presumes a certain diagnoses without further testing and followup. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Damerau took care of my father. He took a personal intereset in my situation, was extremely professional and made himself avaiable at all times. He went so far as to give me his personal cell number and called me while I was out of town to update me on progress of my father.

He's always willing to spend as much time as necessary to explain his diagnosis and treatment. In addition, he seems more concerned with treating the PERSON than just the symptoms. He takes the time to understand the individual, making you feel like he is treating YOU, taking your concerns and lifestyle into consideration, rather than acting like a technician merely repairing a piece of equipment; a trait rarely found in anyone in the health care system anymore
