He does not care about you. He cares about his studies, grants and being published in journals.

Be very very careful of this guy. He has incredible credentials on paper and is a psychopath. Be very very careful.

Dr. Edwards will NOT be there for you when you need him most. You cannot count on him for follow up assistance.

Dr Edwards listens to your symptoms carefully and has a good bedside manner. I have idiopathic neurological symptoms with no diagnosis still but I understand that neurology is not a concrete specialty. I went to a horrible orthopedist who didn't tell me that I was describing neurological pain, the PT that I was seeing told me. I also saw a rude/unhelpful rheumatologist who asked me why I was bothering him. So compared to these other specialists Dr Edwards is 1000 times better. His office staff can be bad about calling you back or getting your prescription faxed to the pharmacy but that pretty much describes all doctors offices in my opinion.

Please be advised that Dr. Edwards will give up on your loved one. He will not be there for the caregiver when needed. He's easily influenced by transferred medical records and will not take the time to make his own assessment. However, he is very good at billing your insurance company for quick appointments!

My daughter could NOT get in to see Dr. Edwards so she saw Dr. Rosentahl (his partner?) and this woman was AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. She doesn't know how to deal with patients. She's cold and uncaring and she will drop you if she doesn't like being told that what she's doing isn't helping. I've heard good things about Dr. Edwards but we have, tried and have not been able to get in to see him. Dr. Rosenthal saw my daughter today about a serious problem she's dealing with and basically told her that since her Botox failed she wasn't going to be seeing her anymore. Supposedly, Botox treatments for cervical dystonia take more than one single treatment work but this horrible person just said there was nothing more she could do for my daughter and walked out. She is not only a terrible doctor, she's not much of a person. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMAN...ALL SHE HAS IS HUBRIS.

Dr. Edwards treats migraines with botox injections, which are a focus of his research. If botox does not work for you, he has no longer has any interest in your case (or you as a patient). After two separate calls over a 3-month period from my drugstore requesting a refill for my triptan were refused(a triptan is a standard migraine rescue medication; NOT a controlled substance), I finally ran out of medication during a three-day episodic attack. I called in after-hours (for the first & only time) to ask for a refill. When I asked Dr. Edwards why the drugstore's requests were denied, he said the office gets a lot of calls each day. When I said that I didn't understand how it could happen twice, he burst out, "Cut the crap. I was in the office for two hours today filling out paperwork. If you don't like it, find another doctor." Oh, I will, Dr. Edwards. And I hope others do too. Two hours of paperwork? I only wish I could fill out two hours of paperwork on a weekend, instead… of spending 36 hours lying in bed with my head bursting.

I was getting the runaround from a different neurologist. Dr. Edwards performed all the necessary tests and was able to diagnose me and get me started on treatment. He's also very compassionate and has a great bedside manner.
