Dr. Keith Robert Gabriel, MD

I have this man to thank for being who I am today. I accidentally stumbled into his life when i was 12 years old. I had slipped at school and required pins to be put in my hips. It sounds simple and easy but that was the beginning of it all. I spent year after year in his office wondering when my next surgery was because my body just would not stop without a fight. From pins in, to pins out. It was always something, and then it happened. Gabriel diagnosed me with a rare bone disease and sent me the best direction to get help, for he could no longer prevent the progression. I haven't seen him in years, I am approaching my 20th birthday and there isn't a day that I don't appreciate how up front and honest he was with me. I was not an easy patient. I was a hormonal preteen and teenager who was very angry at the world for putting me through this. But, looking back, I think if I had another doctor I would not feel the way I am today. His kind, generous, and apologetic behavior strengthened… my ability to be the same with people. He was more than a doctor for the few years, he was family. I am working on my bachelors degree in psychology and social work, because I want to be just as sensitive to other peoples situations as he was with mine despite his job title. Dr. Keith Gabriel cares about his patients. It's not just a job to him, it's his passion. You can see when a case gets to him, he tries to be a hero, but alas he is human and humans have feelings. If you're looking for the quality service from someone who views you as a person and not a case. Visit this man. On the off chance he sees this ill "sign" it in a way he'll know. GREAT WITH CHILDREN TAKES TIME TO EXPLAIN IN DETAIL DIAGNOSIS, OPTIONS FOR CORRECTING THE PROBLEM AND PROGNOSIS. SPEAKS IN TERMS THAT CHILDREN AND PARENTS WILL EASILY UNDERSTAND. SPENDS AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED TO MAKE PARENTS AND CHILD FEEL AT EASE AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THEY MAY HAVE

I've had 3 surgeries on my foot from Dr. Gabriel. He is a very caring and smart doctor. I've enjoyed getting to know him over the years.
