Thorough, explains everything clearly and in everyday language, personable, capable, and extremely helpful.

Historically, Dr. Harris has been a fantastic doctor and exhibit a patient first mentality. However, the practice has grown and significantly changed since they joined Stony Brook. It is more of an institutional business and less about the patient. You have to wait months for an appointment regardless of your condition, you wait on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes when you call, you can't get a call back for prescription renewals and that sympathetic, caring, patient first atmosphere is gone. It is unfortunate but it leaves us no choice to move on. It is now a business and not about the patient.

Arrived 30 minutes early as requested. Waited over a hour and a half to see the doctor, who spent less than 5 minutes with me. Completely inconsiderate and disrespectful. The doctor wasn’t even here this morning

I wish I had the same experience as the other patients on this page. I saw Dr Harris once and will never go back! He was unprofessional in the way he spoke about my previous provider to his nurse practitioner in front of me, spent minimal time with me and explained things so quickly, I walked out of there very confused! He was knowledgeable but in too much of a rush. Waited almost two hours to see him for literally 7 minutes! His nurse practitioner was wonderful and explained things in more detail after he left the office! If I was rating her, I would give her 5 stars! I do appreciate her courtesy and care!!

Meeting Dr. Harris for the first time in the ER 3 years ago was a blessing in disguise. He is a very kind man and does his absolute best to treat what ails you. Gives you his time and explains everything very well. Highly recommend him!

He and all other physicians in this practice work as a team. Each shares the same consideration for their patients. Dr Harris follows your case, shows deep concern for your well being and treatment.

What can I say about Dr. Keith Harris. He was sent straight from heaven from God himself. If it was not for Dr. Harris and his staff at J.T.Mather Hospital I would not be here today. His excellent bed side manner is just calming to you when your are laying in a bed not knowing when you are going home. He explains everything to make sure you understand the plan . His knowledge of his field is just amazing. Dr. Keith Harris would do anything for his patients . This Dr. has helped me in so many ways. He gives you hope when everyone else has given up... I just adore Dr. Harris.
