I had hysterocopy to remove scarring and he was so kind. He explained and showed everything to my spouse and myself. He was honest and made sure I was okay the entire time. It is painful but he is amazing at it and is done quickly. I will be going back to him even though I have to travel 7 hours. His staff is great as well.

Excellent doctor. Could not be happier that I chose him as a surgeon for severe endometriosis. He is exactly what you want in a surgeon: knowledgeable, clearly an expert, calm, centered, focused, and attentive. He knows the research and will sit with you until you have all the answers you need.

Dr. I is amazing!! I went to him because of severe AS. I have seen many doctors without ever getting answers of what is going on with me. I was in so much pain for a year. No doctor could figure out what was wrong I didn't have a period for a year after losing my twins. He figured out I still had pregnancy tissue left inside me and had severe scarring which was Asherman's . After seeing him for 13 months I now get a period and are now starting to try to get pregnant. He gave me back hope for a child. I still have a long road in front of me but it's going to be ok because Dr. I and his team will be by my side. He is a miracle worker.

I found Dr. Isaacson through a global forum for those suffering or who think they are suffering from endometriosis. At this point, I had suspected that I'd had it for about 2-3 years, but before that I had always had terrible cramps. My previous GYN (whom is lucky I didn't file a malpractice suit) wouldn't even consider that I could possibly have endo. She told me the procedure to diagnose endo is "too invasive". Endo is only diagnosable and treatable with the same operation- a laparoscopy. Endo rarely shows up in ultrasounds but that is all the "diagnostics" that she did. She gave me weak pain meds that didn't help get rid of the cramps and no diagnosis or follow up. I was so frustrated because it got to the point where the cramps were every day, not just during my cycle. I almost had to drop out of college because I missed class so much. I finally got on WITSendo and sent a message to all the members, one of them told me about Dr. Isaacson. Seeing him in an exam room and then in the… operating room is like night and day- I can tell he's more interested in fixing the problems instead of talking about it. When I told him to slow down and answer all of my questions, he did. But if he had a choice he would be very quick with you and he isnt very compassionate. I'd go as far as saying he seems cold. But I assure you, he was awesome to operate on me and diagnosed me with stage 2 endo. I haven't had any cramps since! I would highly recommend Dr. Isaacson. His nurses are very sweet and made me feel at home when I was recovering from the surgery.

I discovered Dr. Isaacsson in the 2002 edition of The World's Top Doctors. He was listed in the book under OB/GYN/Fertility Specialists as #1 in America and he just happened to be located in Newton, MA, which was not too far from me. So, I started seeing Dr. Isaaccson in 2002 when I was 42 years old for endometriosis and for fertility issues. I had spent about 10 years trying to get pregnant naturally but because of endometriosis, a blocked fallopian tube, and a 5cm endometrioma in my ovary, I was unable to conceive naturally. At my initial office visit, Dr. Isaaccson spent an hour with me discussing my endometriosis and different fertility treatment options that he could make available to me. For the first time in 10 years, I really felt like I finally found a doctor who cared about me. I especially like going to Dr. Isaacsson because he personally does your annual & pap smear testing, I am able to have any ultra sound testing done right in his office and get the results right… then & there, and I am able to have my blood drawn at his office as well. He has the best bedside manner and his nurses and office staff are very nice and very professional. I always get my pap & mammogram results back from his office within a couple of weeks, and he and his nurses are always available by phone to answer any questions or concerns I have. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who is thinking about fertility treatment or who has endometriosis.

Since my diagnosis of Ashermans, Dr Isaacson and his staff have been wonderful. They don't let me leave until all my questions have been answered. They do not rush me at all. I have a pretty severe case of it so we are just keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be able to overcome this and I will be able to become pregnant again someday.
