He insisted I have osteoporosis after I told him I had had many bone fx's without accidents, falls, etc. I told him I have had 3 bone density tests in the last few years & they all said no osteoporosis. He would not listen. I would tell him something & in a loud voice he would say "Osteoporosis" He did that 3 times. I came to see him for pain in my left hip having had surgery for a fx. 3 years ago. I told him my back hurt a lot of the time also. He said "I don't do backs" I tried to tell him the results of a blood test I had to check my vitamin D level. I started to tell him the number & he said "I don't know all about those numbers". My hip, back & vitamin D level are all connected. He is an orthopedic surgeon & doesn't do backs or have any concept how vitamin D effects your bones? I would never go see him again. He was rude & the things he said to me made him seem incompetent. My last bone density test was last Dec. & the result, no osteoporosis. He needs help.
